Brann has been bugged since Patch 11.1 came out on February 25. Not many players are doing Delves right now since most are waiting for Season 2, but some still want to run them. It’s unclear if the developers will fix the Brann bug when Season 2 starts on March 4. The good news is that the devs know about the issue and have said they’ll fix it. The bad news is they haven’t given a timeframe.

There were also issues with the Delve into the Earth quest, but it looks like the devs have fixed the Brann bug for players who never did Delves before. However, it might still be a problem for those who have already done Delves.

4 ways to fix the bug

These fixes are shared by word of mouth and might not work for everyone. The good news is that they’re all in-game solutions, so you won’t need to download or do anything shady. Most of these fixes are just a simple “turn it off and on again” approach.

Fix 1 — Try opening the Delver’s Guide a few times

Go to Delvers Headquarters in Dornogal.
Find Brann.
Locate the Delver’s Guide on the table near him and click on it.
Select “Review information on your current delve progress.”
Click “Configure“.
Swap Brann’s class back and forth.
Click on Brann’s abilities.
Close the Delver’s Guide.
Reopen Delver’s Guide and do steps 4-8 again.

Fix 2 — Go to an alt character

Swap to a different character.
Change the character’s spec a couple of times.
Visit Brann as an alt character and swap Brann’s spec and abilities a few times.
Switch back to your main character and visit Brann.

Fix 3 — Swap Brann’s spec

Go to Delvers Headquarters in Dornogal.
Find Brann.
Swap Brann’s spec and abilities.
Leave the Delvers’ Headquarters.
Exit the game and log back in.
Repeat steps 1-5.

Fix 4 — Work with your addons.

Update all your addons.
Turn off all your addons.
Go to Delvers Headquarters in Dornogal.
Find Brann.
Swap Brann’s spec and abilities.
