Table of Contents
Herbalism in WoW Forever retains the straightforward gathering gameplay of Classic while adding new herbs, Herb Seeds, Scarce resources, campsite features, and Legacy bonuses.
The biggest addition is the seed system. Herbalists can find seeds while gathering, grow herbs through the Greenhouse, and eventually use the Seed Hybridizer to produce more valuable seeds.

Death Lotus is particularly notable because it appears in new endgame flask recipes such as Flask of Natural Accuracy, Natural Aggression, Natural Precision, and Natural Swiftness.
Their gathering locations and exact Herbalism requirements remain TBA.
Herb Seeds in WoW Forever
Herb Seeds are one of the profession’s largest new mechanics. They can occasionally appear while gathering normal herbs and are then used with the Greenhouse and Seed Hybridizer.

How the Greenhouse works
The Greenhouse unlocks at Herbalism 140. Place it beside a Campfire, interact with the planter, plant one Herb Seed, and wait approximately eight minutes before gathering the resulting herb.

The Greenhouse currently lasts around 15 minutes, so Beta testing indicates only one planting cycle per placement. The system may therefore be more useful for difficult or valuable herbs than basic materials easily gathered in the open world. Pasted text

New Scarce Herbalism materials
Herbalists can also obtain Scarce materials as bonus drops while gathering normal herbs.

Incense Candle
The Incense Candle unlocks at skill 20.
It grants Intellect to players sitting near the campsite, with the amount scaling by character level. The effect does not stack with Arcane Intellect.
The recipe is learned from Herbalism trainers or through the Camping 101 introduction. Pasted text
Greenhouse
The Greenhouse unlocks at skill 140 and lets players grow herbs from collected Herb Seeds.
Blueprint: Greenhouse drops from Shadetooth in Excavation Site: Wetlands. This source and the Greenhouse functionality have both been tested during Beta. Pasted text
Current external Beta reporting also confirms the Shadetooth Blueprint source.
Seed Hybridizer
The Seed Hybridizer is the final Herbalism campsite feature at skill 300.
It can multiply seeds or combine them into rarer tiers, potentially reducing reliance on random Seed drops from gathering.
Blueprint: Seed Hybridizer exists in Beta, but its acquisition source remains TBA.
How to unlock Herbalism recipes
Herbalism currently has only three indexed recipes, all tied to Camping.
