In TWW Season 2, many WoW affixes have undergone changes:
- Xal’atath Bargain affixes are moved from M+2 to M+4.
- Fortified and Tyrannical affixes moved to M+7 and M+10.
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Oblivion was reworked into Xal’atath’s Bargain: Pulsar.
- Challenger’s Peril affix is removed. Penalties for deaths mechanic is moved to Xal’atath’s Guile affix.
Lots of content was added to the game with the release of Season 2, and players are ready to continue their Mythic Plus journey. Not only did the new season bring a new dungeon rotation, but also changed some affixes you will face. What are Mythic affixes
Affixes are modifications applied throughout the entire dungeon to increase the difficulty of your Mythic+ run. Each affix introduces a unique set of special effects, escalating the challenge as your Mythic+ level rises. Understanding affixes is crucial, as they are one of the most important elements in Mythic Plus dungeons.
Season 2 Mythic Plus affixes: What they are and how to counter
In Season 2, players start facing affixes starting from M+4 and higher.
- Only one Xal’atath Bargain affix is active during the run. These affixes change every week and have a certain rotation.
- At M+7 players face only one Fortified or Tyrannical at a time. These change every week. However, at M+10 you will have to handle both affixes at the same time.
Here are all WoW Mythic affixes in Season 2 and tips on how to handle them:

| +4 | Xal’atath’s Bargain: Ascendant | Xal’atath starts casting Cosmic Ascension, summoning a total of 10 orbs. The orbs buff enemies with 20% movement speed and Haster per picked orb. | Interrupt Cosmic Ascension cast ASAP to gain a 2% movement speed and Haste buff per orb picked (maximum 20%). If you missed the opportunity, try kiting enemies away from the orbs. |
| +4 | Xal’atath’s Bargain: Pulsar | Xal’atath sometimes invokes Void Pulsars orbiting players that can be absorbed. If some pulsars remain after 15 seconds, the mobs gain 10% damage buff and receive 20% less damage. | Absorb Void Pulsars that rotate around your teammates during the encounter to gain Mastery and Leech buff. This has to be your main priority. |
| +4 | Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound | Xal’atath sometimes summons the Void Emissary, who will start empowering enemies with Dark Prayer for 15 seconds. If not defeated in time, enemies gain Xal’atath Gift buff. | Concentrate on slaying the Void Emmisary to gain a 20% ability cooldown reduction and a 10% Critical Strike increase for 20 seconds. |

If these absorb shields are not removed after 15 seconds, all nearby mobs will get a 10% maximum health heal. | Absorb shields from Void Rift can be healed through or removed by dispel. Using your strong healing cooldowns can be a good choice. |

| +12 | Xal’atath’s Guile | Increases all enemies’ health and damage done by 12% per tier above +12. Players no longer receive any positive effects from Xal’atath Bargains. Every death reduces the remaining time to complete the current M+ by 15 seconds. | Keep focused on other affixes’ mechanics despite not getting any buffs in exchange. At least, you will not let enemies get stronger. Less deaths are a key to success. |
