WoW Developers Shared Plans for Dragonflight Roadmap in 2023: 6 New Content Updates
UPDATED ROADMAP
ORIGINAL POST
The WoW developers are glad that Dragonflight’s launch was a success. However, this is just the beginning of a journey. And to make the journey memorable, what is coming up in the game must live up to its audience’s expectations.
According to Holly Longdale, WoW Executive Producer, they plan to release about 6 content updates: 2 major and 4 minor ones. They want to keep the world engaging so players always have something to do and something to expect. Future improvements in gameplay, unique adventures, dungeons, events, holidays, items, pleasant surprises, and more await the champions of Azeroth.
Patch 10.0.5 is set to be released early in 2023, introducing the Trading Post, the opening in transmog for white and gray quality items, and exciting adventures in the Primalist Tomorrow.
The following stop is Patch 10.0.7. With the Dracthyr return to the Forbidden Reach, a new campaign and world content will be revealed. Players also get to learn more about the mysterious past of the Dracthyr. This story is said to be the prologue to the next major arc of the story. Ultimately, it will shed light on what looms beyond the horizon. But that’s not all. The community can expect additional questlines regarding Human and Orc Heritage Armor, some holidays are receiving updates, and other nice improvements as well.
Later in the year, Patch 10.1.5 and 10.1.7 will be set in motion. What’s in them remains a secret. Besides, there are still many details in need of discussion.
The WoW Development Team wishes players a Happy New Year, happiness, and health. They look forward to showing everything they have been preparing for next year.
