Just as promised, Blizzard has really made the Stranglethorn Vale PvP event in SoD Phase 2 completely different from Ashenvale. First things first, Blizzard has listened to fans’ feedback about the obnoxious timer in Ashenvale. Now, they have implemented a more structured and easy-to-follow schedule. Unlike in the Ashenvale PvP event, Stranglethorn Vale’s Blood Moon will not feature any PvP objectives. Participating in combat and defeating other players during the event allows you to earn valuable currency. Be sure to remain vigilant. As the formidable Chosen of the Blood Loa will relentlessly seek the destruction of all who dare to cross their path. You can, of course, find a group to increase your chance of survival against the Loa and other players. However, grouping up will impose penalties on each and every member of the party.

If you find yourself wanting to leave the event before the 30-minute mark, you have the option to do so by speaking with the Zandalari Emissary. However, opting out means forfeiting any rewards from the event. Moreover, standard realm PvP rules remain in effect regardless of your participation status.

By earning the Stranglethorn Vale PvP’s currency, you can trade them for rewards by paying the merchant outside the Gurubashi Arena a visit. Said merchant will present you with various class-specific item rewards.
