Winds of Mysterious Fortune runs for four weeks, offering bonus XP for leveling, increased reputation gains, and a higher chance to earn gear and consumables from Mysterious Satchels.
Up to 30% bonus XP for leveling
From level 10 to 80, the Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff will give you +20% experience. During the event, you can obtain special XP potions that grant another 10% bonus, bringing the total potential gain to 30%.
These potions can be found in event-exclusive Mysterious Satchels and are Warbound, meaning you can send them to your alts as well. Even better? They remain usable even after the event ends.
Up to +200% reputation buff
The XP buff is nice, but the real star of the event is the massive reputation boost. Major factions from Dragonflight and The War Within get a big boost, making it much easier to earn Renown, unlock cosmetics, and grab valuable crafting recipes.

Mysterious Satchels: Gear and consumables
Enemies and quests from Winds of Mysterious Fortune can drop Weathered Mysterious Satchels and Pristine Mysterious Satchels. These satchels are packed with useful consumables and gear that scale to your character’s level and specialization. Inside, you’ll find a mix of helpful items, including:
- 2-hour XP potions that grant +10% experience, stacking with the event’s 20% XP buff for a total of +30% XP gain
- Temporary stat-boosting potions
- Visual effect items
- Bonus gear appropriate to your class and level
The XP potions are Warband-bound, so you can use them across all your characters. They’re usable from level 10 to 79 and can be saved even after the event ends.
