Key takeaways:

What is Voidforge

Voidforge is a progression system tied to Season 1 endgame. It’s located in Voidstorm at [/way #2405 51.3 68.6 The Voidforge]. To unlock it, you’ll need to complete a short quest chain where each step requires collecting 3 Elementary Voidcore Shards.
You can get these shards from multiple sources:
- Defeating raid bosses across all three Midnight raids
- Looting Bountiful Coffers from Bountiful Delves
- Completing Mythic+ dungeons and opening the end chest
There’s full catch-up available, so you can complete missed weeks without delay. Progress is also warband-wide.
Ascendant Voidcores

After building the Voidforge, your next goal is the Ascendant Nilhammer. This unlocks Ascendant Voidcores, a currency used to upgrade high-end gear.
To build it, you’ll need to complete a 4-week quest chain starting with New Tools, New Heights. Early in the chain, Decimus gives you a Hungering Oblivium that must be charged.
You charge it by doing:
- Raid bosses from Midnight raids
- Mythic+ dungeons
- Bountiful Delves
Note
You only need to complete any three activities total to fully charge one Oblivium.
Ascendant Voidcores drop from the same endgame activities: raids, Mythic+, Delves, and Nightmare Prey. These are used to upgrade weapons and trinkets beyond their normal limits. You can use them on:
- Fully upgraded Hero and Myth track weapons and trinkets
- Max-quality Radiance-crafted weapons and trinkets
Myth track items end up at 298 ilvl and crafted items at 294. Once upgraded, items gain Ascendant Voidforged status and can’t be upgraded further. You can earn one per week, and the Nilhammer requires four, so expect at least four weeks to finish it.
How bonus rolls work

After completing Season 1 content, you can spend Nebulous Voidcores to get an extra item based on your loot spec. This works for:
- Raid bosses
- Mythic+ dungeons
- Bountiful Delves
- Nightmare Prey Hunts
Once you receive an item through a bonus roll, it’s removed from your personal loot pool for that difficulty until you collect everything. This prevents duplicates and makes targeting gear much easier. Costs and rewards depend on content:
