The Unbinding of Kith’ix raid overview
The Unbinding of Kith’ix is a new single-boss raid coming in Midnight Patch 12.1.5. Hidden beneath the Vaults of Ula’tek, Kith’ix was imprisoned by Ula’tek long ago. Her defeat weakened the restraints holding the ancient C’Thraxxi general, forcing players to confront him alongside Lady Liadrin.
The Unbinding of Kith’ix raid release date is yet to be announced.
Current PTR data includes Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic versions of the encounter. Story Mode also appears in PTR data, although Blizzard has not yet detailed its live availability.
The Unbinding of Kith’ix features:
- One raid boss: Kith’ix
- Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties on the PTR
- Up to 344 ilvl Mythic gear
- Four special Cantrip armor pieces
- Two weapons
- Three trinkets
- One ring
- Housing Decor and a Hearthstone toy
The Unbinding of Kith’ix raid loot table
Here is the current Kith’ix raid loot table from the Patch 12.1.5 PTR. Kith’ix currently drops 10 pieces of gear, plus two collectible rewards. Because Patch 12.1.5 is still being tested, item effects and even individual drops may change before release.

Kith’ix Cantrip gear
One of the most interesting parts of The Unbinding of Kith’ix loot table is its four Cantrip armor pieces:
- Voidweaver’s Vestments: Cloth Chest
- Leggings of Palpable Terror: Leather Legs
- Aberrant Commander’s Gauntlets: Mail Hands
- Corroded Hulk’s Skullcap: Plate Head
All four pieces have a special effect that gives attacks a chance to erupt with Void energy and damage nearby enemies. If your character is Venomcursed, the damage from this effect is increased by 15%.
