Blizzard releases The War Within pre-patch on July 23?
With the new expansion’s release approaching, the community started speculating whether Blizzard would release The War Within pre-patch on July 23.

Judging by the fact that Blizzard recently updated The War Within PTR Build 55478 by transforming it into a Release Candidate build, we can expect the pre-patch to go live very soon. Prior to this, the Developers need to thoroughly test significant changes on the PTR to avoid any bugs and errors before rolling them out to the live servers.

Although the official pre-patch release date remains a mystery, and a Release Candidate build is just a sneak peek of it, Blizzard usually drops a bunch of these builds in a week to prepare for the pre-patch launch. Considering this, the most probable dates for the NA and EU server pre-patch launches are July 23 and July 24, respectively.
Anyway, there is always a chance that Blizzard will give us a heads-up before Season 4 ends to keep us informed. When the Dragonflight pre-patch dropped, the company announced the release date just a week before it went live, so you do not have to worry. Plus, there is no haste to embark on new content, as there is plenty of the old one awaiting you. As of July 11, Blizzard has officially confirmed the release date for the pre-patch via a post on their official website. Despite all the speculation, the pre-patch is set to be released on July 23, bringing the long-awaited Radiant Echoes event and joy to players.
