Nerub’ar Palace is the first The War Within raid, featuring a roster of 8 formidable bosses. This Nerubian raid, located deep within Azj-Kahet, offers the chance to obtain unique and powerful rewards, including gear, weapons, trinkets, mounts, and even recipes. Every 80-level player, including you, can test their mettle and find something valuable for themselves!

The War Within Nerub’ar Palace loot table: Item levels

There are a total of four item-level tiers in the Nerub-ar Palace raid. Very Rare drops are special items you can only obtain from specific bosses. They don’t drop often, but when they do, they’re at a higher item level than your Regular items. As you can see, after every two bosses, the item level of Regular items goes up, while the item level of Very Rare ones remains the same based on the difficulty level:

Interestingly, the developers have added the following Nerub’ar Palace recipes for five different The War Within professions. One is rare and dedicated to a secondary profession, while the rest are epic quality, meaning they are for the primary ones. Regardless of their quality, they are all considered Very Rare drops, unique items you can only obtain from specific bosses:

The War Within Nerub’ar Palace loot table by mounts

There are two mounts available from the Nerub’ar Palace Queen Ansurek raid boss. The first one, Reins of the Sureki Skyrazor, drops on all difficulty levels, while the other, Reins of the Ascendant Skyrazor, only drops on mythic difficulty. Each class can acquire exclusive Tier Set items with impressive stats, bonuses, and a unique appearance by getting Nerub’ar Palace Tier Tokens, which are dropped by specific raid bosses:

Helm: The Silken Court (Anub’arash and Skeinspinner Takazj)
Shoulders: Rasha’nan
Chest: Broodtwister Ovi’nax
Hands: Sikran, Captain of the Sureki
Legs: Nexus-Princess Ky’veza

Nerub’ar Palace Tier Set pieces come with powerful 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses that become active once you have equipped the appropriate number of these pieces. The bonuses are designed for each spec, so when you switch specs within your class, these bonuses will automatically change to fit your new spec. Each gear slot has a corresponding Token, and all classes share certain Token types in The War Within:

Mystic: Druid, Hunter, Mage
Venerated: Paladin, Priest, Shaman
Zenith: Evoker, Monk, Rogue, Warrior
Web-Wrapped Curio: Any class

Note that Queen Ansurek guarantees a drop of the Web-Wrapped Curio, which can be exchanged for any Tier Set piece, regardless of your class. Also, you can get Nerub’ar Palace Tier Set items from the Great Vault no matter what you’re doing, be it raiding, Mythic+, or world content.
