WoW Midnight Patch 12.1 release date: What do we know about it

Patch 12.1 release date

Currently, we don’t have an exact release date for Patch 12.1 or Season 2. However, based on Blizzard’s roadmap and the fact that pre-PTR builds have already appeared on Blizzard’s servers, we expect an official announcement sometime in June or early July, with the patch itself likely arriving in August.

Although we don’t have an exact release date yet, the strongest current contender is the week of August 11. This estimate date comes from the official schedule for the Turbulent Timeways V event, which is set to run throughout patch 12.0.7.
Patch 12.1 overview

Patch 12.1 will delve deeper into the Amani storyline, potentially expanding on the development of Zul’Jan and Zul’Jarra. The new zone will likely be the island located east of Zul’Aman, which is currently inaccessible.
As with every new season, players can also expect:
- A new raid tier
- New Season 2 activities in Midnight
- A new Mythic+ rotation and an additional dungeon
- New Delves, Ritual Sites, and Void Assaults
