WoW Patch 12.1 release date

WoW Patch 12.1 will go live sometime in late Summer. Blizzard still hasn’t announced the exact release date, however, there is strong speculation surrounding Patch 12.1 and Midnight Season s release.
Patch 12.1 overview
Patch 12.1 is the first minor patch of Midnight that offers even more class tuning, activities, and fun modes. Let’s now learn everything coming in Patch 12.1 of Midnight.
New zone: The Coiled Island

The Coiled Island, to the surprise of no one, is the newest Midnight zone arriving with Patch 12.1. It’s the zone that you couldn’t access and that lies east of Zul’Aman. Just like any other zone, this one expands the story of the Amani trolls and the Sethrak. The newest zone will offer several new activities:
- Vaults of Atal’Utek: This location will engage you in group combat and poison you. Luckily enough, the Altar of Corrosion will help negate its effects while also buffing you in this zone.
- Curse Surges: New rares that spawn in five different locations across the Coiled Island and grant access to Cursed Fishing.
- Lairs: A new type of content featuring World Bosses that scale from Normal to Mythic and are instanced just like Delves.
Season 2 content

As you may expect, shortly after Patch 12.1’s release, we will see Midnight Season 2 launch, probably a week later. The new Season means:
- New raid: The Venomous Abyss
- A brand-new Mythic+ rotation
- One brand-new dungeon: Altar of Fangs
- New Delves: The Ring of Glory and Gnarldor Isle joining the Midnight Delve lineup
- New Nemesis Delve: Venomfall Deeps
- New stories for Season 1 Delves
- New PvP Season
- And probably more on the radar later this Season
Housing blueprints

Even before Midnight’s release, players asked for this feature to be unlocked during the pre-patch, and Blizzard delivered. Housing Blueprints is a simple system that allows creative players to share their housing ideas through an export function and lets the lazier part of the community import them directly to their Housing plot.
Some minor additions to Housing also include the addition of pets to your House, new Housing Endeavors, and even more dyes to color your Decor.
More interface tweaks

Blizzard continues to implement more features into the base WoW UI while fixing other problems and adapting to player feedback. The full list of new additions to the UI includes:
- Customizable Auras
- Cooldown Manager tweaks
- Pings to share cooldowns and resources
