What are Bronze Celebration Tokens

Bronze Celebration Tokens are the currency players will be getting during the 20th Anniversary event. These are Warband-wide and can be transferred between characters. For every anniversary, Blizzard adds currency for the celebration. This time, players can get new and previous rewards in exchange for these Bronze Celebration Tokens.

How to farm Bronze Celebration Tokens

During the World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary celebration, Bronze Celebration Tokens will be given as a reward for most of the event activities. To start the celebration and start farming Bronze Celebration Tokens, you have to complete Meet and Greet quest. You can start it in Tanris, where most of the Anniversary events will occur, after automatically getting Another Timely Invitation quest after logging in to the game. Speak to Yllana in Tanaris at /way 62.8 50.6 coordinates to start the initial quest. Earning the first 100 Bronze Celebration Tokens will reward you with a Token Collector achievement. Getting Token Collector achievement lets you farm Bronze Celebration Tokens from repeatable activities such as:

• Timewalking dungeons – 2 Bronze Celebration Tokens per run.
• Codex of Chromie scenario – 2 Bronze Celebration Tokens per run.
• World Bosses in Tanaris kills – 1 Bronze Celebration Token per boss once a day.
• The Originals World Bosses kills – 1 Bronze Celebration Token per boss once a day.
• Korrak’s Revenge quests in PvP Battleground – 3 Bronze Celebration Tokens per quest.
• Blackrock Depth raid mini-bosses kills – 2 Bronze Celebration Tokens per boss once a week (on each difficulty).
• Blackrock Depth raid main bosses kills –  3 Bronze Celebration Tokens per boss once a week (on each difficulty).

The “Great” Detective quest guide

To complete The “Great” Detective quest, first, talk to three NPCs at /way Tanaris 63.81 51.07. Continue their dialogs until you reach 48% in quest progression. Then fly to the beach at /way Tanaris 66.23 40.61. Use a Torch of Pyrreth toy to find the body. Now, talk to all NPCs on the beach until you reach 96% in the quest progression. Talk to Athalton again and tell him that Scrapes is guilty.

Tracking Quest: How to find Rexxar

To find Rexxar during the Tracking Quest completion, fly to the beach at /way Tanaris 68.0 40.8. Use the Goblin Vaessel. You will be sent to the Northrend. Now, travel at /way Borean Tundra 78.54 51.53 and re-use your Tricked-Out Thinking Cap toy. Fly to /way Borean Tundra 77.30 46.15 coordinates to find Rexxar.

The Trail’s Gone Cold quest guide

To complete The Trail’s Gone Cold quest, you have to first travel to /way Borean Tundra 85.9 34.0 coordinates. Now, find three notes: two are near the hut (one outside and one inside), and one is at /way Borean Tundra 88.0 34.6 coordinates. Then you have to travel to /way Sholazar Basin 49.7 36.0 coordinates and click on Glimmering Pillar. Now, fly to /way Icecrown 16.0 58.8 coordinates and investigate the Scrapes’ corpse. Use Spirit’s Whistle to summon Rexxar and tell him that Scrapes was killed by a shapeshifter.

Warn the Detective

To get Warn the Detective quest and continue the secret event you need to talk to Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2. After getting the quest, find two Athelton Jones Detectives in Tanaris /way 60.97 50.68 and talk to any of them.

Spot the Difference quest guide

To complete Spot the Difference quest, you must talk to a few NPCs to learn more about the shapeshifter. Here are all the NPCs’ locations:

• Leeroy Jenkins – Tanaris /way 63.38 52.30.
• Hemet Nesingwary Sr – Tanaris /way 62.47 51.94.
• Addie Fizzlebog – Tanaris /way 63.45 51.67.

Next, return to Detectives and ask them about their day. The one who does not mention how great he is or calls anyone else the greatest is the shapeshifter. Once he turns into Satyr, follow him to /way Tanaris 59.94 62.47. Slay Y’lliya Xennin and return to Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2.

Speak to Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2 to get The Final Toy quest. Now, speak with Maru in Tanaris /way 63.2 52.4 to get The Toy Thief (Alliance) / The Toy Thief (Horde) quest.

  • The next steps in this quest are the same for Alliance and Horde.
• The Toy Thief  Horde quest:
  • Find Matan in Dazar’alor /way 56.2 31.8, talk to him. Now, find a Bakar Sketch at /way 56.99 22.23. Bring this Bakar Sketch to Maru in Tanaris /way 63.2 52.4.
  • The next steps in this quest are the same for Horde and Alliance

Return to Maru in Tanaris /way 63.2 52.4 to show him Bakar Sketch. Now, travel to Ohn’ahran Plains and find Hearthkeeper Berulan at /way 62.79 40.68. The next step is to talk to Getseng /way 58.58 39.65. Now, get on top of the Maruukai mountain and find Chew Toy at /way 57.83 31.73. Bring the Chew Toy to a Toy Box /way 39.66 58.28, hide on bush nearby, and wait for Bakar Pup to appear. Follow the pup to a cave and find Miniature Tuskarr Boat /way 38.27 55.96. Bring the toy back to Maru in Tanaris /way 63.2 52.4.

Get A Pirate Predicament quest from Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2. Talk to Bonenose /way 60.9, 44.7 and get Pirate Foods and Superstitions quest. Travel to Eastern Kingdoms, Booty Bay, and talk to Kelsey Yance /way 42.81 68.97. Now, loot the barrel at /way 42.88 72.83 and get Boonful Banquet. Bring it to Scowling Rosa and complete the quest. You can find her wandering in the Booty Bay port.

Pirate Gastronomy quest guide

Get Pirate Gastronomy from Scowling Rosa in  Eastern Kingdoms, Booty Bay. Now, you have to get all the following ingredients (or buy them in an Auction House):

• 5x Bloodfin Catfish – fishing in Deadwind Pass.
• 4x Deviate Fish – fishing in Northern Barrens / Wailing Caverns.
• 3x Furious Crawdad – fishing in the mountains of Terrokar Forest.
• 2x Nettlefish – fishing in Sholazar Basin.
• 2x Aromatic Fish Oil – oils extraction from Slimy Mackerel / Sand Shifter.
• 2x Witchberries – Saurok and Sprite drop from Mists of Pandaria expansion.
• 2x Swiftthistle – extra gathering drop from Briarthorn / Mageroyal.
• 1x Small Flame Sac – drop from Whelpers and Darters in Badlands. It can also be obtained from Eldreth Darter boss.

Once you get all the ingredients, return to Bonenose in Tanaris /way 60.9, 44.7, and tell him you collected everything. Now, you must buy or find the last missing ingredient in Northrend, Hrothgar’s Landing /way 55.49 10.63. Keep looting Ice Crystals until you get Deep Sea Monsterbelly. The fastest way to compete Restoring A Grand Tale quest is to find Cravitz Lorent in Tanaris /way 63.6 48.7 under the Fashion Frenzy event stage. Buy Green Hills of Stranglethorn for 100 gold. Bring the book to Addie Fizzlebog in Tanaris /way 63.45 51.67.

Upon returning all ten cards to Alphonse Constant you will complete Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager The Case of a Good Book sub-achievement.

The Case of Misfortune sub-achievement guide

Deck Dismay

To start Deck Dismay quest, you must talk to Alphonse Constant in Tanaris /way 63.8 52.2. Keep talking to him until you get the quest. Now, You have to find ten lost cards. Here are all cards’ locations:

• The Six of Fire – /way 63.27 52.26 to the right from the stall.

Start A Hozen On My Back quest by talking to Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2. Talk to Riko /way 61.8 50.4 to get The Case of the Fur-Getting Wikket quest. Talk to Breanni /way 62.4 49.8 and tell her you need a Raccoon. Next, talk to Sully “The Pickle” McLeary under the Fashion Frenzy stage /way 63.03 49.43. Now, travel to Pandaria, Jade Forest /way 43.36 68.82 to find two raccoon graves. Use Torch of Pyrreth toy to reveal the raccoon Gizmo and catch it. Return to Riko in Tanaris /way 61.8 50.4 and complete the quest. After ~5 minutes, he will send you an in-game letter with Gizmo the Pure pet.

Get Lost and… Found? quest from Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2 and loot the chest just next to her. Now, you have to return lost items to their owners in Tanaris:

• Crude Ivory Locket – Mankrik /way 63.4 52.0.
• Jade Amulet – John J. Keeshan /way 63.39 51.81.
• Potion Bottle – Marin Noggenfogger wanders around the Celebration zone, meaning you can use /target Marin Noggenfogger macro.
• Tiny Mechanical Mouse – Oglethorpe Obnoticus /way 62.26 49.84. He also doesn’t stand in one place. You can use /target Oglethorpe Obnoticus macro to find him.
• Well-Worn Almanac – Farmer Yoon /way 63.10 52.02.

Once all items are returned, talk to Alyx /way 63.0 50.2 to complete the quest and get The Case of the Missing Mementos sub-achievement.

The Case of Pet Games sub-achievement guide

Get Pet Pursuit quest from Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2 and talk to Jepetto Joybuzz /way 62.2 49.6 to get the next Battle Pet Bingo quest. Now, visit the following locations:

• Pandaria, The Jade Forest /way 64.06 80.76 – interact with the Jumping Spider.
• Pandaria, The Jade Forest /way 44.43 52.51 – interact with Summit Kid on the top of the mountain.

Return to Jepetto Joybuzz in Tanaris /way 62.2 49.6 to complete the quest and get The Case of Pet Games sub-achievement.

Get Not Ready on Set quest from Alyx in Tanaris /way 63.0 50.2. Travel to Ardenweald (you can use Timeways portals in Dornogal) and talk to Dapperdew /way 41.4 44.8 to get The Show Must Go On quest. Now, find the missing props:

• Play Script at /way 41.24 42.80.
• Prop Sword at /way 42.22 46.71.
• Mask of the Trickster at /way 41.17 43.73.
• Conductor’s Baton at /way 43.29 46.46.

Return to Dapperdew /way 41.4 44.8 to complete the quest and get The Case of Staged Disaster sub-achievement.

All Guest Relations Celebration Crates locations

There are 11 Guest Relations Celebration Crates during the event. Each Celebration Crate opening will reward you with 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Here are all currently known celebration crates locations:

• Zuldazar /way 54.2 54.2. Find Nikto just below the giant Gerald clam. Buy Clam Digger and return to Gerald. He will open his ‘’mouth’’, and you will be able to get the Soggy Celebration Crate.
• Kalimdor, Desolace / way 54.0 58.1. This Hazy Celebration Crate can only be seen in spirit form. Simply dismount high in the air and return to the crate as a ghost.
• Eastern Kingdoms, Blasted Lands, Deadwind Pass /way 39.83 73.11. Here is an entrance to the Crypt. Move forward to /way 33.52 70.72 and keep going down the spiral tunnel. Once you find water /way 30.22 81.33, swim to the other side. The Dirt-Caked Celebration Crate will be at /way 22.43 83.74.
• Kalimdor, Thousand Needles /way 66.3 86.2. Here is an entrance to the dig site. You will find a Water-Resistant Receipt at /way 64.9 84.4. Pick it up and travel to Vashti the Wandering Merchant in Azsuna. He travels in a line from /way 66.0 22.2 to /way 65.8 48.2. He will be selling Sandy Celebration Crate for 500 gold (only if you have the receipt).
• Northrend, Grizzly Hills /way 29.40 6.36. Here, you will find a Battered Celebration Crate.
• Tanaris /way 69.18 68.60. Underwater, on the second floor of the house there is a Waterlogged Celebration Crate.
• Kalimdor, Mount Hyjal /way 13.6 33.5 under the trampoline, you will find Charred Celebration Crate.
• First, find a Potion of Truth on top of the mountain in Kalimdor, Ashenvale /way 47.9 38.4. Now, fly straight to Feralas /way 60.42 35.40. As long as you have Potion of Truth buff, you will find a Mildewed Celebration Crate here.
• Outland, Nagrand /way 35.85 67.20 find the entrance to Oshu’gun cave. Find Crystallized Celebration Crate /way 35.27 74.73
• Find the cave entrance in Kalimdor, Ahn’Quiraj: The Fallen Kingdom /way 40.43 93.12. Turn to the left and go deeper into the cave. Find Andrestrasz dragon and summon any dog Battle pet (e.g., Worg Pup ~1 gold on Auction House). The pet will dig out the remainings, and loot them to get Mysterious Bones. Now, travel to Broken Isles, Stormheim /way 37.39 47.64, and use Mysterious Bones near the grave. You will get Surprisingly Pristine Celebration Crate.

Celebrate Good Fun! quest quick completion trick

To quickly complete the Celebrate Good Fun! daily quest, you can participate in the Fashion Frenzy event. Ask some friends to vote for you in the competition. Each vote provides you with 5% of the quest progress. This way, you can complete it in less than 20 seconds! However, this trick requires a group.

Celebrate Good Fun! can also be easily completed solo by using a Pet Mirror trick. Find a chest at /way 62.03 50.09. Loot a Pet Mirror from it. Summon any pet of your choice and use a Pet Mirror on it. You will transform into your pet. Now, find a basket at /way 62 52. Click it to hop in. The quest progression will start to gain percents. It will take no longer than 10 minutes to get 100% and complete this daily quest. Sometimes, this method might not work at first. If percents stop gaining – hop in and out of the basket.

How many Bronze Celebration Tokens can you get

The 20th Anniversary event will run from 22 October 2024 to 2 January 2025. This gives players ~10 weeks of celebration. Completing all mentioned ways of token farming every day and week makes ~388 Bronze Celebration Tokens per week and ~3964 Bronze Celebration Tokens in total. 

Remember that we still don’t know if these activities will be the only ones rewarding players with tokens. We will monitor content added to the live servers and update this guide with new information.

All 20th Anniversary rewards

Here are all the 20th Anniversary rewards you can buy with your freshly earned Bronze Celebration Tokens. To buy all rewards, you will need 485 Bronze Celebration Tokens.

Tier 2 Sets transmogs

Blizzard made 13 updated versions of Tier 2 Sets for each class, even for ones that did not exist back then. In our dedicated article, we took a closer look at all transmog sets. Each one costs 60 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Blizzard also added a discount for buying more sets. After getting the first one, you will get Upgraded Apparel achievement, lowering other sets’ cost to 40 Bronze Celebration Tokens. After buying the second set, you will get Classy Dresser achievement, lowering the remaining sets’ cost even more, making it 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens per set.

With both possible discounts, players will need to pay 320 Bronze Celebration Tokens for all 13 sets in total. Farming this amount of currency will take at least 1 week of completing daily and weekly quests with Bronze Celebration Tokens rewards (based on current information).

20th Anniversary event pet and toys

These 20th Anniversary rewards can be purchased from Historian Ma’di in Tanaris.

Cost of all items in total: 75 Bronze Celebration Tokens

Bag of Timewarped Badges is a way to exchange any remaining or unneeded Bronze Celebration Tokens for Timewarped Badges. This currency can be used to buy different rewards during Timewalking events.

Pets and mounts from previous Anniversary events

These pets and mounts from previous anniversary events can be purchased from Storekeeper Reginald in Tanaris. 

Cost of all items in total: 90 Bronze Celebration Tokens.

Last thoughts

Many players awaited the 20th Anniversary event. This celebration will be the biggest we have ever seen. Even though Bronze Celebration Tokens provide players with cool and pleasant rewards, farming them is not the most important part of the holiday.
