On May 7, 2024, players will see the new Dark Heart Patch 10.2.7 update. It is supposed to be a stepping stone between Dragonflight and The War Within, one of the three Worldsoul Saga expansions.

Dark Heart Patch 10.2.7

As Blizzard says, Alleria Windrunner will play a significant role in the unfolding story, which we can see due to the numerous screenshots and concept arts. Thus far, we can only speculate what kind of story will unfold when The War Within is released later this year, but the community is sure it will be epic! At the moment of writing, players can apply to become beta testers so they do not miss a chance to partake in the process.

UI changes to the Pet Stable Interface in the new Dark Heart Patch 10.2.7 update

Aside from that, the Dark Heart update brings some UI changes to the Pet Stable Interface. It is excellent news for those playing as a Hunter, as you can favor and rename your pets conveniently and sort them by their name, specialization, or abilities. There is also an additional slot devoted to the pet summoned by the Animal Companion talent close to the Active pet list, which sounds handy.

It is not the end! Blizzard releases pretty Draenei and Troll heritage sets, which significantly emphasize their uniqueness, and a range of six hair colors available for Kul Tiran Humans in Patch 10.2.7. Let’s take a closer look:

Besides, Blizzard presents a fantastic time-limited PvE event called WoW Remix: Mists of PandariaIt will take place from May 16 and allow players to revisit all Pandaren locations and dungeons as if they had time-travelled to the era when Mists of Pandaria was first released. It would be exciting to see other modes related to past expansions similar to this one in future patches.

To sum up, a new story arc and many other nice things, such as the updated Pet Stable Interface, additional hair colors for the people of Kul-Tiras or the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event, are awaiting us in Patch 10.2.7.
