It’s time to rediscover the charm of this iconic chapter in WoW. With accelerated leveling, customizable loot, and thrilling challenges, WoW remix invites you on a fast-paced journey through one of the most beloved expansions in Warcraft’s history.
How to Participate in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
To participate in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, you need to create a new WoW Remix character, called the “Timerunner,” from the Character Selection screen. Your character will start at level 10 and progress through the event until level 70. The unfolding adventure takes place on the Timeless Isle. There, you’ll encounter the Infinite Dragonflight and Eternus, who will set you on your path.
No expansion purchase is required. The full experience of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is available to all players with a World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. This means that Classic players can also participate in this event by installing the modern WoW client. Even Trial Accounts can join in the fun, experiencing the event up to level 20 without a subscription.

However, with Bronze in hand, you can explore various bazaars across zones to shop for class transmogs, Mists of Pandaria mounts, toys, and more. Even elusive items that were once difficult to acquire can now be purchased with Bronze.
Mounts and Dragonriding in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
Given the accelerated pace of the event, relying on foot travel won’t suffice. So, mounts are accessible right from the outset in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. What You Can’t Do in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
While WoW Remix MoP provides numerous opportunities to experience both familiar and new activities in WoW, it also comes with certain restrictions. We’ve compiled a list of these limitations for your reference:
- Timerunners can’t use the Auction House.
- Timerunners don’t have access to professions.
- Timerunners can’t leave Pandaria during the WoW Remix event. Those who attempt to leave Pandaria during the WoW Remix event will find themselves promptly teleported back within mere seconds, regardless of any successful attempt to do so. These WoW Remix characters can only leave the zone once the event ends and they become standard characters.
- Timerunners don’t have access to heirlooms.
- Dragonflight characters can’t send mail to Timerunners.
- Timerunners are permanently phased from regular Dragonflight characters, preventing them from grouping or participating in activities together. However, they can still join regular Dragonflight guilds to communicate with their guildies in both Dragonflight and Remix.
What Happens When WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria Ends?
Once WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria ends, your WoW Remix character will become a standard character. To accommodate this transition, extra character slots will be made available.
Your character is not the only thing you can bring from WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria to The War Within. Throughout this limited-time event, you’ll encounter an array of potent new items and transmogs. Collecting them demands effort, so the prospect of abandoning them all seems disheartening. Yet, there’s no need for concern. Once the event wraps up, you’ll be able to bring your transmogs along with you into The War Within, ensuring your efforts are not in vain.
As for the achievements in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, other than the rewards they bring, they will also become Feats of Strength when the event ends.
