Challenge Yourself with the Mage Tower Return in WoW Patch 10.0.5
The Mage Tower is back and ready to test your skills in Patch 10.0.5.
WHAT IS THE MAGE TOWER?
The Mage Tower is a fan-favorite feature. Initially introduced in Legion, it tasked players with mastering and completing solo battles for each specialization and class. As you honed your skills, you could unlock incredible Artifact weapon skins. With the end of the expansion, this popular feature was closed. It later returned to Shadowlands but offered different rewards.
The rewards for finishing any challenge include the A Towering Success achievement and a transmog set in an alternate T20 Legion armor color scheme for your class. You’ll also gain a Felbear Skin if you are a Guardian Druid. Completing all seven trials shall unlock the A Tour of Towers achievement and the Mage-Bound Spelltome mount. If you’re ambitious, take on all the tests with all specializations. You’ll then unlock the Tower Overwhelming feat of strength.
With the Dragonflight Pre-patch’s release, the feature was again disabled. Probably due to numerous changes and the introduction of Dracthyr Evoker.
THE MAGE TOWER IS BACK IN PATCH 10.0.5
With Patch 10.0.5’s release, the Mage Tower has returned to the game. You can now start pursuing its juicy rewards. The scaling changes brought about by Dragonflight have led to the following modifications in the Mage Tower:
- The gear scaling has been adjusted to item level 120 instead of 50 like in the pre-expansion. This affects the best-in-slot gear for Timewalking sets.
- Party Sync and Crafted gear are better options than Siege of Orgrimmar and other raid items.
- Some item sets from Dragonflight, such as the Primal Ritualist and World PvP sets, provide significant bonuses in the Mage Tower and are worth using. Embellishments from Dragonflight-crafted gear are also effective in the Mage Tower challenge.
WHAT ARE THE EVOKERS MAGE TOWER’S CHALLENGES?
There is no Mage Tower challenge available for the Evokers right now.
