WoW Classic Hardcore: Self-Found Mode Release Date Revealed

The WoW Classic Hardcore Self-Found mode is one of the highly anticipated features among Hardcore players. After all, these gamers are always on the lookout for ways to ramp up the challenge in this relentless realm. As reported earlier, it’s set to launch in late February. And now, Blizzard has officially revealed that the Self-Found mode release date is set for February 29, 2024.

“Survival is the name of the game in Classic Hardcore realms, and while you don’t always have to go it alone, you might just want to. Beginning on February 29, you can take the leap into a new adventure in Hardcore with Self-Found. In this mode, you’ll begin from level 1 and will be restricted from sending or receiving mail from other players, buying or selling on the Auction House, or trading in any way (including giving or receiving items or enchantments.)

It will all be up to you and your ability to explore, gather, and create everything you need to survive in Azeroth… all on your own.”

What Is WoW Classic Self-Found Mode?

WoW Classic Hardcore: Self-Found Mode Release Date Revealed

In WoW Classic Self-Found mode, players are restricted from accessing items that they don’t obtain by themselves. This means no sending or receiving mail from other players, no buying and selling on the Auction House, and no trading of any kind. Even giving or receiving items or enchantments is off the table. And so, players must rely solely on their own skills to explore, gather resources, and craft essential items for survival without any external assistance.
