Blizzard Entertainment, the developer behind the massively popular online game World of Warcraft, has announced the release date for the next major update for Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) Classic. The update, The Secrets of Ulduar, will be available to players starting January 19 at 3 PM (PST). However, the champions of Azeroth can begin enjoying the fresh content from January 17.

Let’s take a moment to dive down memory lane with the 11-year-old trailer when the raid was first released before moving on with the article.

The Ulduar raid is an ancient Titan facility. Here, you will discover the Titans’ history from a bygone time. Along the way, you will have to battle your way out of the corrupted Keepers’ grasp. And waiting for you at the end is the Fiend of a Thousand Faces, Yogg-Saron.

The raid’s arrival also brings up the opportunity to purchase gear and collectibles with Emblems of Conquest. You can collect this type of currency from all Ulduar’s bosses. Alternatively, you can obtain them via the heroic dungeon daily “Proof of Death.”

Speaking of dungeons, a fresh mechanic, Titan Rune Dungeons, is also set to debut in WotLK Classic. The latest game feature lets players find Mysterious Titan Relics outside all Heroic dungeons. Once a relic is activated, the bosses will be empowered with extra health, damage, and abilities. However, you will get handsomely rewarded, as they will drop items from The Obsidian Sanctum raids, Naxxramas, and Eye of Eternity 10-man versions.

In addition to the upcoming raid, the Argent Tournament in Icecrown can’t wait to bring you new dailies to spice up your adventure.

PvP Arena lovers are in for a treat too. A new season is incoming. Thus, it’s only a matter of time until eligible players receive their Furious Gladiator titles and Frost Wyrm mounts.

2023 has kicked off with a busy start with various fascinating content and features to explore.

Ulduar is incoming in just a few days. While that, another raid, Trial of the Crusader, will open its gate in a few months.

Over the sky of Dragonflight, Patch 10.0.5 is about to launch near the end of January or early February, bringing along new zone and features. After that, Patch 10.0.7 is already looming on the horizon.

Thus, prepare for an action-packed year, as there is much to look forward to in 2023.
