What is Gryphon in Destiny 2

Gryphon is a new Exotic vehicle in Destiny 2 that you can equip in the Sparrow slot and use for fast travel as usual. According to the developers, it also has the unique ability to engage in combat, a first for Sparrows in the game.
Secondary weapons inherit the damage type of the Super currently equipped by the driver.
There’s also mention of an unrevealed feature related to crafting the Gryphon, which might allow players to upgrade it for better speed or combat efficiency. The only information we have so far is this quote:
“There is some really cool build crafting things with this vehicle, that i don’t want to spoil right now, that people will discover. But I’m super excited for it.”
