Patch 10.1: Embers of Neltharion has been active for almost a month, bringing a range of exciting updates to the popular game. A notable addition is the introduction of a brand-new Malygos model. Along with it is accompanied by a cinematic featuring the former Aspect of Magic.
Last week, the long-awaited Blue Dragonflight questline was made available on live servers. As players progress through this engaging quest, they will be treated to a heartfelt cinematic that serves as its culmination. And there, players will have the opportunity to witness a fresh model of Malygos.
It bears a striking resemblance to his visage depicted in the Dragonflight Legacies.
Malygos was one of the five Dragon Aspects. Being the Guardian of Magic, he believed that the mortal races’ magic wielders were the source of all troubles in Azeroth. Therefore, the Spell-weaver decided to purge the world of “rogue” magic users. Eventually, the brave adventurers put an end to his madness. Thus, restoring balance to the world and appointing Kalecgos as the new Aspect of Magic.
