Originally, Tier 2 sets were powerful high-level gear introduced in the WoW Vanilla era, providing all nine classes with strong 3-piece, 5-piece, and 8-piece bonuses when multiple armor pieces were equipped. These sets dropped from the Blackwing Lair, Molten Core, and Onyxia’s Lair bosses.
However, with the release of the 20th anniversary, these cosmetic sets have returned as cosmetics for The War Within expansion, now featuring much more modern looks. Now called “Eternal Tier 2 sets” in WoW Retail, they are available for you to buy with Celebration Tokens during the anniversary.

“Upgraded Apparel”: Buy your first set to reduce the cost of costumes from 60 to 40 Tokens.
“Classy Dresser”: Buy your second set, dropping the other sets’ price to 20 Tokens each.
