WoW Interview with Ion Hazzikostas: About Dracthyr 3rd Spec
Mr.GM has been teasing an interview with WoW Game Director Ion Hazzikostas for days on Twitter. And finally, it’s here! And it contains quite a lot of fascinating information. Among them is the long-awaited fate of the Dracthyr’s third spec.
The video is half an hour long and covers a plethora of topics. So we highly recommend you watch it for a more comprehensive understanding of what is to come. But if you’re short on time, then check out the highlights we have compiled down below just for you.
- The PTR for Patch 10.1.5 is coming soon
- A Warfront map is coming out next week
- Despite many speculations circulating online about a third spec for the Dracthyr, there isn’t going to be one. In the future, maybe, but we won’t get to see anything new in Patch 10.1
- Efforts are underway to address cross-faction issues, but caution must be exercised. The game wasn’t initially designed for cross-faction play. So it’s essential to strike a balance and not obliterate the boundaries between the Horde and Alliance entirely
- Guild Tabards may receive updates, but not in Dragonflight
- The developers want to expand Timewalking more and more. They want to bring BfA to the list
- Dracthyr won’t receive more transmog options in the near future
- The bank hasn’t changed since 2014. They are discussing upgrading it
- Patch 10.1.5 will bring forth a brand-new megadungeon. More information is incoming at the end of Patch 10.1 and on the 10.1.5 PTR
- The developers are considering including skips for old long raids
- They will adjust the bosses in BfA so players can solo them in 10.1.5
