Season 3 Vicious Seasonal mount

- Alliance: Vicious Void Creeper (Purple)
- Horde: Vicious Void Creeper (Red)
The Vicious Seasonal Mount is a prestigious PvP-exclusive reward available each season. These mounts are uniquely themed to the expansion and serve as a primary incentive for active PvP players. Since they are tied to a specific season, they cannot be earned again once the season ends, unless later obtained with a Vicious Saddle token.
How to get Vicious Seasonal mount
You must win Ranked PvP games to increase your rating.
- PvP modes that count toward this include:
- Solo Shuffle (no group required)
- 2v2, 3v3, and Rated Battlegrounds (RBGs) (require a group)
- Once you reach 1400 rating, you cannot drop below it, making it easier to maintain it.
Grinding for the Seasonal PvP mount
- Winning Ranked PvP matches earns progress toward the Seasonal PvP Mount:
- 2v2 Arena = 10 points per win
- 3v3 Arena = 30 points per win
- Rated Battlegrounds (10v10) = 60 points per win
- RBG Blitz = 25 points per win
- The Seasonal Progress Bar requires 2400 points to unlock the mount.
- You do not need to increase your rating to fill the bar—just keep winning matches.
Once earned, the mount is permanently added to your collection.
Note:
Unlocking a Vicious Seasonal Mount (as well as Vicious Saddle) grants both the Alliance and Horde versions of mounts, regardless of your faction. For example, earning the Vicious Void Creeper as an Alliance player will also unlock its Horde counterpart.
How to get Vicious Saddle in The War Within patch 11.2

The Vicious Saddle was introduced in Mists of Pandaria (Patch 5.4: Siege of Orgrimmar). It was added as a way for PvP players to earn additional mounts after completing their seasonal Vicious War Mount progress. You can earn it after obtaining the seasonal PvP mount. It allows active PvP players who missed previous seasons to exchange it for legacy Vicious mounts like Vicious Skyflayer (The War Within Season 1 Seasonal PvP mount).
Key differences from Vicious Saddle and Seasonal PvP mount
- Acquisition method:
- Vicious Saddle: Earned by reaching 100 wins in Rated Arena (2v2/3v3), Blitz, or Rated Battlegrounds above 1000 rating after completing the current season’s Vicious mount progress.
- Seasonal PvP mount: Awarded automatically once you earn 100 wins in Rated PvP above 1000 rating during a specific PvP season.
- Mount selection:
- Vicious Saddle: Can be exchanged for past Vicious PvP mounts from previous expansions at PvP vendors.
- Seasonal PvP mount: A unique, new mount exclusive to that PvP season and can be obtained later with Vicious Saddle.
- Availability:
- Vicious Saddle: Can be farmed indefinitely each season after earning the current seasonal mount.
- Seasonal PvP mount: Limited-time reward, only available during its respective season.
- Mount types:
- Vicious Saddle: Includes various ground mounts like wolves, kodos, rams, and mechanostriders.
- Seasonal PvP mount: Often follows a theme unique to the expansion and season, such as armored skyflayers (In Season 1 of The War Within) or eels for Season 2.
In short, Vicious Saddle allows players to obtain past mounts, while Seasonal PvP Mounts are time-limited and exclusive to their respective PvP seasons.
To earn a Vicious Saddle, you must first obtain the seasonal PvP mount.
Earning Vicious Saddles after the Seasonal mount
- Once you obtain the seasonal mount, any additional 2400 points earned will grant a Vicious Saddle.
- You can earn unlimited Vicious Saddles by continuing to fill the bar.
