Turbo Boost is a new TWW feature, that introduces faster ways to gear up than ever before.
This system is designed to help players catch up on their gear and prepare for the end of Season 3 and The War Within. Developers are offering several support options, including the return of the Dinar system, gear upgrades, and more.
WoW Turbo Boost start date
The WoW Turbo Boost event begins on October 7, 2025, and will run until the end of Season 3.
Dinar currency in Turbo Boost
The main feature of Turbo Boost is the return of the Dinar currency, also known as the Puzzling Cartel Chips. With it, players can purchase any Manaforge Omega loot from the Heroic or even Mythic upgrade tracks, as well as Mythic+ trinkets of their choice.
Earning Dinars is straightforward. Complete one of the following weekly quests:
- Turbo-Boost: Powerhouse Challenges (complete 4 Mythic+ dungeons)
- Ultra Prime Deluxe Turbo-Boost: Powerhouse Challenges (defeat 4 MFO bosses)

WoW Turbo Boost crafted gear upgrades
You can now increase the item level of your crafted gear by 6 points. To do this, follow these steps:
- Visit Syenite (/way 57.8 56.8) or Llande (/way 52.4 71.4) in Dornogal.
- Purchase Runed Augmentation Matrix (15 Runed Ethereal Crest) or Gilded Augmentation Matrix (30 Gilded Ethereal Crest)
- Use Spark of Starlight to recraft your crafted item, increasing its item level by 3 or 6.

Turbo Boost Delves upgrades
Solo players can enjoy improved Delves rewards during the Turbo Boost event.
- Starting October 7, Delver’s Journey progress will be accelerated thanks to increased rewards from Bountiful Coffers, Hidden Troves, Nemesis Strongboxes, and end-of-run grants.
- Delves will now grant more Crests and Valorstones, making it easier to gear up through solo content.
- Warbound Champion 1/8 Gear from Tier 9+: Starting at Tier 9, players have a chance to obtain Champion 1/8 Warbound gear as drops.
- Hero-Track Delve Trinkets: Upon reaching Rank 3 in the Delver’s Journey, Untainted Mana-Crystals may drop from Bountiful Coffers at Tier 9 and higher. These crystals can be exchanged for Hero-Track Delve Trinkets at Zah’ran in the Delve treasure room.
Turbo Boost Crests and Valorstones update
Starting with Season 3 Turbo Bost, the cap on Crests will be removed, and Valorstones will become Warbound. However, transferring Valorstones will come with a 25% penalty.
These updates make it easier for players to upgrade their gear and create a smoother endgame progression experience. Both changes will remain active for the rest of The War Within Season 3.
Turbo Boost Catalyst and Warband gear
Following the Turbo Boost launch, drop rates for Warband gear from Mythic+ dungeons will be greatly increased.
Season 3 Turbo Boost introduces a new feature: Catalyst charges. These now drop from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP. Players can use them to secure their 4-set bonus or unlock specific Transmog appearances from the Season 3 Tier Set armor.

I am a solo casual players no time for guild raids or the silliness of repetitive myth+ key I don’t need myth gear, happy with hero gear. Delves are my main gear content with vault. hero gear still needs guilded crest which are still capped per week, I have to grind all crest to transmute just for guilded crest. turbo boost is very anti solo friendly. to solve this lift the cap on delves or make hero gear just need runed crest. turbo boost made the game worse for me, way more grind.
