Delves are one of the most important activities during your end-game experience. From Delves, you can obtain different loot, resources, and gear with ilvl up to 639 (ilvl 649 reward in Great Vault). Delves have different Tiers of difficulty and can be quite challenging to complete on high levels. This is why knowing which ones are easier and faster to run through can be very useful. So we prepared a tier list of all Delves and arranged them from easiest to most complicated. Remember that any tier list is subjective and you might have a different opinion based on your experience.
Here, we also share all Sturdy Chests locations in every Delve. These are lootable chests that can contain loot for selling and resources for gear upgrades. Finding all Sturdy Chests in every Delve grants you a Leave No Treasure Unfound achievement with a “Seeker of Loot” title. For better navigating via the /way command, we recommend using the TomTom add-on. It creates an arrow to the chosen location, helping you reach the desired objective. Another useful add-on is Handynotes. It helps navigate many objectives during all activities in TWW Season 1 and works perfectly with TomTom.

Delves tier list
Here are Delves Tier 8+ from easiest to hardest and all Sturdy Chests locations:

The easiest Delves Tier 8+
Here are Delves that are the easiest and fastest to complete:
Fungal Folly
The location of this Delve is on the Isle of Dorn at /way 51.90 65.51 coordinates.
Fungal Folly Delve is common with mechanics and can be easily completed in ~8-10 minutes, especially when you have already learned it. Using Sporebits that explode with damage after a short timer against groups of enemies, bosses, and Elites can significantly shorten your run time. But be sure to dodge the eruption yourself!
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 58.38 46.91
/way 32.97 73.97
/way 34.41 65.33
/way 49.34 35.76
/way 35.64 20.07
The Spiral Weave
The location of this Delve is in Azj-Kahet at /way 55.8 67.3 coordinates.
The Spiral Weave Delve is also very straightforward and can be completed in 10-15 minutes with the right ilvl gear. This one is especially good for fast Delves Tier 8+ runs, as the ”boss fight” consists of four waves of enemies and not the classic tough single target. This makes it one of the best Delves for compilation in terms of time consumption.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 50.33 45.78
/way 36.42 11.14
/way 46.07 46.25
/way 42.40 47.77
Tak-Rethan Abyss
The location of this Delve is in the City of Threads (Ajz-Kahet) at /way 67.72 24.29 coordinates.
Tak-Rethan Abyss is one of the best Delves to choose for your runs. Most of the Dungeon can be skipped by stealthing through enemies, so make sure to grab a few Draughts of Silent Footfalls if your class doesn’t have invisibility. This Delve takes ~10 minutes to complete.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 59.86 25.02
/way 64.81 48.80
/way 44.95 49.86
/way 35.31 58.39
Excavation Site 9
The location of this Delve is in the Ringing Deeps at /way 76.25 95.85 coordinates.
Excavation Site 9 is a new Delve that was added in Season 2 TWW. This Delve has a specific map that can be tricky at first. However, once you understand the idea of the Delve and find the best routes for your class, you can complete Excavation Site 9 Delve fast and easy. We especially recommend this Delve for mobile classes like Rogue, Hunter, Demon Hunter, and Mage.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 73.28 39.89
/way 57.09 46.80
/way 50.82 61.46
/way 33.55 59.12
The Sinkhole
The location of this Delve is in Hallowfall at /way 50.75 50.38 coordinates.
The Sinkhole Delve is one of the easiest. An unending pressure from Aquatic Curse that used to be a difficulty in the beginning of TWW expansion, is no longer a problem with new scenarios. This Delve has many packs that can be skipped with invisibility and is relatively short on its own.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 52.33 14.21
/way 43.15 60.82
/way 72.62 60.93
/way 48.64 69.47
Normal difficulty Delves Tier 8+
The following Delves are pretty common and don’t require any special skill. These don’t have any obvious ”exploits” like in Tak-Rethan Abyss, Fungal Folly, and Mycomancer Cavern. All of them take ~10-15 minutes to complete. These are fine to choose during your runs, but are not as easy as previously mentioned Delves.
Mycomancer Cavern
The location of this Delve is in Hallowfall at /way 70.91 31.00 coordinates.
All Mycomancer Cavern Delve scenarios are quite easy and fast to complete, as this Delve is one of the most straightforward. Approaching this Delve with efficient gear will only take you less than 12-15 minutes to complete. Similar to Fungal Folly, this Delve has Sporebits that can be used for faster runs if used against enemies during encounters.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 49.66 21.55
/way 63.22 45.44
/way 68.91 40.96
/way 40.66 61.61
The Dread Pit
The location of this Delve is in the Ringing Deeps at /way 74.37 37.37 coordinates.
The Dread Pit is a straightforward Delve with a simple mechanic. Stay away from Nerubian Eggs and avoid stepping into webbed areas if eggs hatch. Despite being pretty easy, this mechanic can significantly reduce dodging space during encounters.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 40.59 45.78
/way 57.30 56.10
/way 58.32 27.79
/way 36.06 17.21
Sidestreet Sluice
The location of this Delve is in the Undermine at /way 34.95 53.14 coordinates.
Sidestreet Sluice Delve was added to the game in Season 2 TWW and turned out to be a nice choice for casual Great Vault filling runs. The whole Delve has very straightforward mechanics and doesn’t require too much effort to complete. This Delve doesn’t have many options to skip unnecessary packs, which makes it not ideal for farming. However, it is pretty short and easy to deal with.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 33.5 73.1
/way 62.2 64.7
/way 74.2 74.2
/way 75.0 36.6
The Waterworks
The location of this Delve is in the Ringing Deeps at /way 46.34 48.67 coordinates.
The Waterworks Delve is a bit more complicated to run through. It has many enemies that must be interrupted during some casts (e.g., Kobold Mystic’s Fireball). Players need many more interruptions and CC to prevent mobs from dealing burst damage. This Delve also includes an air-totem carrying mechanic. However, in Season 2 it became almost unnoticeable thanks to new scenarios.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 49.96 24.25
/way 44.45 38.48
/way 47.85 53.36
/way 49.64 79.37
Kriegval’s Rest
The location of this Delve is on the Isle of Dorn at /way 62.12 42.74 coordinates.
The Kriegval’s Rest Delve has a candle-carrying mechanic and many enemies with hazardous abilities (e.g., Kobold Taskfinder’s Battle Cry). In Season 1, always renewing a torch from Enchanted Candle mechanic was very unpleasant during fights. However, in Season 2, the number of torches increased significantly, making this Delve much easier. The lack of CC and Interrupts can be very frustrating for some classes and specializations. Kobold Skullfaces are also very annoying as they have both Scratch frontal attack with bleed effect and uninterruptible Kick knockback.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 46.47 20.00
/way 62.10 53.15
/way 74.40 69.53
/way 69.50 85.31
The worst Delves Tier 8+
The following Delves are the worst for runs, as they contain extra mechanics, tougher enemies, bosses, and Elites. Even with the right ilvl gear and knowledge, these delves take 15-25 minutes to complete.
The Underkeep
The location of this Delve is in the City of Threads (Ajz-Kahet) at /way 58.57 66.43 coordinates.
The Underkeep is one of the longest Delves to complete. Each run can be very different depending on the version you get. For example, Evolved Research is one of the easiest versions and doesn’t require backtracking and wandering all over the Delve. However, Escaped Experiments, Torture Victims, and Weaver Rescue, on the contrary, make you visit all corners of the Delve and might be pretty unpleasant to complete.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 36.34 34.42
/way 63.72 32.23
/way 38.94 68.82
/way 72.12 88.33
Nightfall Sanctum
The location of this Delve is in Hollowfall at /way 35.27 46.05 coordinates.
Nightfall Sanctum Delve has the Artillery Fire mechanic, which can be a challenging addition to the run. This mechanic makes players dodge appearing purple zones on the ground, making this Delve Tier 8+ runs a bit complicated, especially for casters. The Delve itself doesn’t have many skippable packs and has no efficient ways for quicker completion.
Sturdy Chests in this Delve are located at:
/way 70.66 44.29
/way 51.62 56.85
/way 38.81 73.69
/way 40.26 37.23
Earthcrawl Mines
The location of this Delve is on the Isle of Dorn at /way 38.5 73.9 coordinates.
Earthcrawl Mines overall Delve Nerubian Webs mechanic can be very annoying and significantly reduces space throughout the fight. This mechanic creates Webbed areas all over the Delve that spawn Skittering Intruders. These adds are not a big deal on their own but can be overwhelming during fights. This Delve’s final Boss, Web General Ab’enar, is one of the hardest among all Delves. It has many abilities that must be interrupted (like Web Bolt, Curse of Agony, and Runic Shackles). This boss can create colossal pressure on classes and specializations with long-cooldown interruptions. For more information, check our Comprehensive Earthcrawl Mines Delve guide.

/way 43.57 27.16
/way 32.74 39.66

/way 53.55 82.14
The Skittering Breach
The location of this Delve is in Hallowfall at /way 66.54 61.74 coordinates.
The Skittering Breach Delve is one of the most challenging to complete and takes a long time to run. Its final boss, Nerl’athekk the Skulking, has many mechanics that require more concentration and skill to beat. This boss fight consists of adds and void zones dodging (e.g., areas from Darkrift Smash) and can be very exhausting. Web Spreaders mechanic spawns Web Spreaders that weave webs on the ground. The longer this Delve run becomes the more webbed areas will cover the space. Killing Web Spreaders makes their weaved webs vanish, but the pressure of limited space can be annoying and hazardous.

Im not sure when you created this but on t11 you probably didn’t tried all the versions, or its completely different on different characters. I agree with Waterworks, the end boss is pretty much one shooting you with most of his specials, best tactic for the totem is always drop it so you have a nice arena and can run inside it as you have to dodge a lot so it would go off quickly , but the tree leaders in Night sanctum are pretty much one shooting you without even trying just their basic attack even with one of them CC. Its completely unbalanced. I completed already 8 of the 12 delves on ilvl610. the only ones that I still have to do is Waterworks, Nightfall sanctum, The underkeep (this with the trials is a bad joke, fighting groups of enemies where most single ones can kill you in seconds and you have mostly 3-4 of them at once + the end boss.. got him to 10 percent twice and he just stopped inside the blue shit witch one shots you and started casting the spell that you must interrupt or you are pretty much one shooted … bad rng not enough lives to get more tries.) and the Spiral weave. Most of the ones you have in the most difficult i had not much issue with ….
Spiral wave on Tortured hostages is quite ok zero issue there.
I’ve done them at all tier 11 except for Skittering Breach. It’s at least 500x harder than the others, blizzard really need to address it
Clear the previous platform right before the boss, and fight him there instead. It’ll make the fight a lot easier.
why is dread pit in secon tier? its actualy easyest and fastest delve at all, Im able to run it under 8min
After Mycomancer Cavern for me Kriegval and Waterworks are without question the easiest and fastest at 10-12 min solo on T8 both as tank and DPS.
