Blizzard announced The War Within 11.0.7 patch and gave us a sneak peek. The patch will include a new zone — Siren Isle to explore.

Table of Contents
Patch 11.0.7 will be officially released on December 17. One of the most significant new additions to the game in patch 11.0.7 will be its new location, the Siren Isle. This new location will feature a new mystery for players to discover. This Isle was used by Kul Tirans to mine Azerite during the events of BFA. However, for some unknown reason, expeditions disappeared all of a sudden. Now, players will travel with Skkaggit, Gazlowe’s assistant, to uncover the mystery and discover what kind of pulse caused the island to appear again on our radars.
We will also see a continuation of Kirin Tor’s story and the consequences of Dalaran’s Fall. Although it probably won’t be connected to the Siren Isle.
Everything about The War Within new zone Siren Isle
Siren Isle is a new zone for max-level characters that will feature new activities. Developers have described it as featuring lots of secrets and references. The Isle itself looks like BFA cut content added back to the game. Blizzard has also stated that they have gathered everything that makes a zone good for player experience. Players have found similarities with patch 10.0.2 Dragonflight Emerald Dream.

Siren Isle’s zone map
Below is the map of The War Within’s new zone: Siren Isle.

Enemies on the Siren Isle
This location will be a prequel to the events of patch 11.1. These three groups of enemies will be presented on an island. A crew of pirates, nagas, and vrykuls will rotate weekly and be the feature enemies on the island for a week so that players won’t fight the same group of enemies. The Earthen and the Arathi also came to the island before us to study the crystal in the middle of Siren Isle, and goblins wanted to study the properties of a crystal. The Siren Isle will also feature Storm events during which players can use goblin engineering to defend Siren Isle from sea enemies.
How to fly on Siren Isle
At first, flying won’t be an option in Siren Isle, because of the debuff. But eventually, you’ll be able to fly in the zone. We have an entire article dedicated to answering the question “How to fly on Siren Isle” right here:

Major Excavations on Siren Isle
Major Excavations are world events activated by donating Flame-Blessed Iron. Here’s how to participate:
Donations:
- Donate at the Command Map in Flotsam Shoal.
- Each contribution requires 5 Flame-Blessed Iron.
- It takes 30 contributions (a total of 150 Flame-Blessed Iron) to start an event.
Choose an excavation. The Siren Isle has three caves linked to specific factions:
- Shuddering Hollow (Earthen)
- The Drain (Skaggit)
- The Drowned Lair (Arathi)
Donations determine which cave is excavated. These locations may change, so check for updates.
During the event:
- A vignette will appear on the map when the excavation begins.
- Players have 3 minutes to gather at the location while NPCs excavate.
- Once the site is cleared, a Rare enemy spawns. Defeating it completes the event.
Cooldown:
- After completion, Major Excavation events have a 5-minute cooldown before contributions can restart.
Flame Blessed Iron: Siren Isle new currency
Blizzard has also introduced a new currency, Flame Blessed Iron, which you can trade for mounts, pets, gear, transmog, upgrades for Cyrce’s Circlet, and donations to trigger Major Excavations. This currency can be gathered from the Siren Isle:
- Common mobs: 1-5 Flame-Blessed Iron
- Elite mobs: 5-25 Flame-Blessed Iron
- Rare mobs: 100-150 Flame-Blessed Iron
- Treasure Chests: 25-75 Flame-Blessed Iron
- Major Excavation Events: 250-300 Flame-Blessed Iron (from the boss)
- Daily Quests: 200 Flame-Blessed Iron
Cyrce’s Circlet
With the preview of Siren Isle in 11.0.7 comes a new unique ring, Cyrce’s Circlet. This ring will be visible on your character and will feature 3 sockets for different gems. This ring is similar to the Onyx Annulet in Dragonflight, where players had a similar experience. You can upgrade with Singing Citrine which you can get by doing various activities on the Siren Isle.
If you want to know more about Cyrce’s Circlet, how to get Singing Citrine, and what upgrades this ring has, check our guide on this matter.
New mounts
Siren Isle will feature lots of new mounts for players to discover. One of them is The Breaker’s Song which is the reward for Siren Isle’s meta achievement Isle Remember You. You can get this mount with the help of our guide on getting The Breaker’s Song mount.
