Healers play a crucial role in Mythic+ dungeons, and with every new patch the balance between classes shifts. In patch 12.1 of Midnight, Season 2 introduces tuning changes and adjustments that have reshaped how each healer performs in high-level content. Some classes excel with powerful cooldowns and efficient group healing, while others provide unique utility that makes challenging encounters more manageable. At the same time, a few healers struggle to keep pace, requiring more effort to achieve the same results as stronger options.

Previously, we have discussed DPS rankings and Tank tier list. So, today, our attention is on another important part of any group: Healers. As always, we’re ranking healer specs from S to C tier. S-tier healers shine in Midnight Season 2, while C-tier specs struggle and need some tuning.
Healer tier list criteria in Midnight Season 2

For you to better understand the reasoning behind placing a certain spec into a specific tier, first, let’s go over our criteria:
- S-tier. The WoW best healer Mythic+ to play. Heads above any other contestants in numbers and what it can do. That includes healing output, direct and passive damage, and utility.
- A-tier. A place where all the balanced classes go. They are great alternatives to each other and can even compete with S-tier in some specific scenarios. But overall S-tier picks are just stronger.
- B-tier. Classes that have some drawbacks that stop them from reaching A-tier. It can be a lack of raw healing or damage, a relation between difficulty and effectiveness, or an unfavorable encounter design in Season 2.
- C-tier. For specs that currently struggle the most. These are in dire need of adjustments from developers to make them a compelling option.
Midnight Season 2 Healer tier list

Here is our Healer tier list for Midnight Season 2. The rankings are:
- Holy Paladin (S-tier)
- Restoration Shaman (A-tier)
- Mistweaver Monk (A-tier)
- Preservation Evoker (A-tier)
- Restoration Druid (B-tier)
- Discipline Priest (B-tier)
- Holy Priest (B-tier)
This ranking is based on healer representation in high keystones. As it stands, most top dungeons groups tend to favor Holy Paladin, while other non Priest pecs also see some play in top 100 runs. The remaining healing specs appear much less frequently in high-end content.

The one thing aside from direct adjustments that shift the power of classes around is the new Season 2 tier sets. Having an effect that suits the class’s strongest build or brings new, previously impossible interaction can greatly change where a class is in the rankings.
S-Tier: Best Healers for M+
Here are the best healers for M+ for Midnight Season 2.
Holy Paladin

Holy Paladin is the clear leader in high Mythic+ keys thanks to strong spot healing, excellent defensives, and one of the best healer utility kits. Holy Shock, Beacon of Virtue, and powerful cooldowns make it very reliable during sudden damage, while its Season 2 set further strengthens Infusion of Light gameplay.
Its utility is especially valuable in the current dungeon pool. Cleanse Toxins covers common Poison effects, while Blessing of Protection, Blessing of Freedom, and strong externals give groups answers to mechanics that many other healers simply have to heal through.
A-Tier: Good Healers for Mythic+
These healers perform well in the current Mythic+ meta.
Restoration Shaman

Restoration Shaman combines strong healing with excellent utility through Wind Shear, Bloodlust, Capacitor Totem, and numerous situational totems. Its Season 2 set supports the Totemic build by creating additional Healing Rains and adding passive absorbs, although its value drops somewhat when groups are forced to spread.
Poison Cleansing Totem is particularly useful in Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, and Altar of Fangs, while Curse dispels help in Murder Row. This combination of healing, interrupts, dispels, and group utility keeps Restoration Shaman firmly in A-tier.
Mistweaver Monk

Mistweaver remains a strong high-key option thanks to excellent damage-to-healing conversion through Jadefire Teachings and Way of the Crane. Its Season 2 set reinforces Rising Sun Kick and Rushing Wind Kick gameplay, further rewarding aggressive melee uptime.
Detox covers important Poison effects throughout the dungeon pool, while Leg Sweep, Ring of Peace, and Tiger’s Lust provide excellent control and mobility utility.
Preservation Evoker

Preservation Evoker offers excellent burst healing through Dream Breath, Spiritbloom, Echo, and Verdant Embrace, especially when incoming damage is anticipated correctly. Its Season 2 set has strong synergy with Flameshaper, improving Living Flame, Essence Burst, and Green-spell interactions.
Expunge and Cauterizing Flame give Preservation valuable dispel coverage, while Tail Swipe, Wing Buffet, and Oppressing Roar provide strong crowd control. Its main weakness remains limited healing range, which makes positioning more demanding than on most other healers.
B-Tier: Okay Healers for M+
Restoration Druid

Restoration Druid provides excellent sustained healing through Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, Wild Growth, and Regrowth, but performs best when damage is prepared for in advance. Its Season 2 set strengthens existing HoTs through Genesis, offering solid passive throughput without dramatically changing the spec.
Although currently he is not prioritized due to less answers to poison mechanics and HoTs gameplay.
Discipline Priest

Discipline Priest excels against predictable damage by preparing Atonement before using Penance, Mind Blast, and other offensive spells to heal the group. Its Season 2 set reinforces this playstyle by improving Penance and empowering Power Word: Shield after Mind Blast.
Discipline can perform extremely well with proper preparation, but its recovery and utility limitations hold it in B-tier.
Holy Priest

The main issue is utility rather than healing output. Holy lacks an interrupt, Poison dispel, and strong crowd control, while Mass Dispel and Mind Soothe are more situational. Other healers currently provide comparable throughput alongside stronger dungeon utility, leaving Holy Priest near the bottom of high-key representation.

Sorry, this list is either way backwards or totally wrong.
Rdruid is definitely pruned, and others are not in their right place. Please do better research and also consider the max key each class have done…

Thanks for your feedback. Tier lists are based on the criteria used, and different sources often reach different conclusions. That’s also why we repeatedly emphasize throughout the article that players should choose the spec they enjoy rather than blindly follow the meta. Player skill and familiarity with a spec often have a greater impact on performance than tier placement alone.
Our rankings consider overall performance, consistency, utility, and the current Mythic+ meta, not just the highest key completed by each spec. We continuously review and update our articles as the meta evolves, and we always welcome constructive feedback supported by specific points or data.
As for our services, we’ve been helping players since 2014. Our reputation is built on thousands of completed orders and more than 42,000 customer reviews across multiple platforms, which reflect the quality and professionalism of our service far better than any single article.
