In patch 12.0.7 of Midnight, Season 1 introduces tuning changes and adjustments that have reshaped how each healer performs in high-level content. Some classes excel with powerful cooldowns and efficient group healing, while others provide unique utility that makes challenging encounters more manageable. At the same time, a few healers struggle to keep pace, requiring more effort to achieve the same results as stronger options.

Previously, we have discussed DPS rankings and Tank tier list. So, today, our attention is on another important part of any group: Healers. As always, we’re ranking healer specs from S to C tier. S-tier healers shine in Midnight Season 1, while C-tier specs struggle and need some tuning.
Healer tier list criteria in Midnight Season 1
For you to better understand the reasoning behind placing a certain spec into a specific tier, first, let’s go over our criteria:
- S-tier. The WoW best healer Mythic+ to play. Heads above any other contestants in numbers and what it can do. That includes healing output, direct and passive damage, and utility.
- A-tier. A place where all the balanced classes go. They are great alternatives to each other and can even compete with S-tier in some specific scenarios. But overall S-tier picks are just stronger.
- B-tier. Classes that have some drawbacks that stop them from reaching A-tier. It can be a lack of raw healing or damage, a relation between difficulty and effectiveness, or an unfavorable encounter design in Season 1.
- C-tier. For specs that currently struggle the most. These are in dire need of adjustments from developers to make them a compelling option.

Here is our Healer tier list for Midnight Season 1. The rankings are:

This ranking is based on healer representation in high keystones. As it stands, most groups tend to favor Restoration Druid, while Mistweaver Monk also sees some play in top 10 runs. The remaining healing specs appear much less frequently in high-end content.
The one thing aside from direct adjustments that shift the power of classes around is the new Season 1 tier sets. Having an effect that suits the class’s strongest build or brings new, previously impossible interaction can greatly change where a class is in the rankings.
S-Tier: Best Healers for M+
Here are the best healers for M+ for Midnight Season 1.
Mistweaver Monk
Mistweaver Monk combines excellent healing with strong damage through Jadefire Teachings and Way of the Crane. Rising Sun Kick, Blackout Kick, and Spinning Crane Kick convert damage into healing, making the spec especially powerful on stacked pulls.
The Hungry Lasher waves in Algeth’ar Academy are ideal for Spinning Crane Kick, allowing Mistweaver to heal while damaging every add. Leg Sweep and Ring of Peace also provide strong control in Windrunner Spire, while Tiger’s Lust is useful against Permeating Cold in Pit of Saron.
Restoration Druid
Restoration Druid excels at steady group healing through Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, and Wild Growth. Its strong tank healing and damage output make it reliable in Mythic+, though unexpected burst can be difficult when HoTs are not prepared beforehand.
Pre-applying HoTs is particularly effective against Pulsing Shriek in Windrunner Spire and the Hungry Lasher waves in Algeth’ar Academy. Ironbark provides excellent tank support, while Ursol’s Vortex, Typhoon, and Nature’s Cure bring valuable control and dispels.
A-Tier: Good Healers for Mythic+
These healers perform well in the current Mythic+ meta.
Discipline Priest
Discipline Priest is strongest against predictable damage, applying Atonement with Power Word: Radiance before healing through Penance, Smite, and Mind Blast. Power Word: Barrier and Pain Suppression provide excellent defensive value, but the spec can struggle when forced to recover without preparation.
Atonement ramps are excellent for Pulsing Shriek in Windrunner Spire and the Hungry Lasher waves in Algeth’ar Academy. Mass Dispel and Purify handle dangerous debuffs, while Mind Soothe can enable safer routes through Algeth’ar Academy and Maisara Caverns.
Holy Paladin
Holy Paladin provides strong reactive healing through Holy Shock, Eternal Flame, and Light of Dawn. Its powerful cooldowns and excellent spot healing make it reliable during sudden damage, while its melee playstyle also contributes solid DPS.
In Windrunner Spire, Blessing of Protection removes the dangerous Throw Axe bleed, while Blessing of Freedom can cancel Plungegrip in Pit of Saron. Hammer of Justice, Blinding Light, and Blessing of Sacrifice provide further control and defensive value.
Preservation Evoker
Preservation Evoker excels at preparing for incoming damage with Echo and Reversion before responding with Dream Breath, Spiritbloom, and Stasis. Its burst healing is excellent, although its limited range makes positioning more demanding.
Cauterizing Flame can remove Flanking Spear and Infected Pinions in Maisara Caverns. In Windrunner Spire, Zephyr reduces damage from Spore Dispersal and Pulsing Shriek, while Tail Swipe and Wing Buffet help control large packs.
Restoration Shaman
Restoration Shaman offers flexible healing through Riptide, Chain Heal, Healing Wave, and its numerous totems. It also brings Wind Shear, strong cooldowns, and one of the broadest utility kits among healers, although its talents must be adjusted for each dungeon.
Purge can remove Grim Ward in Maisara Caverns, while Purify Spirit handles Curse of Darkness in Windrunner Spire. Tremor Totem is also useful against Terror Wave in Magisters’ Terrace, giving Restoration answers to several dangerous mechanics.
B-Tier: Okay Healers for M+
Holy Priest
Seems like the Holy Priest is destined to be forever hidden in the shadow of its sibling spec, Discipline Priest. Holy is a classic healer that is all about big direct heals. This spec’s numbers are okay, but again, Discipline has everything better. Even Holy’s unique utility is weaker. The only advantage Holy has over all the other healers is that it is the easiest one to play.

Rdruid is definitely pruned, and others are not in their right place. Please do better research and also consider the max key each class have done…
