Patch 11.2 of The War Within introduces a new artifact cloak called Reshii Wraps, which plays a key role throughout Season 3 content. This Artifact cloak is required for various activities across open-world zones, dungeons, Delves, and the new raid Manaforge Omega.
In this guide, we’ll cover how Reshii Wraps work, where it is used, what content it affects. Understanding this Artifact cloak is important for progressing through the main story and encounters in Season 3 of The War Within. For reference, you might think of it as something similar to the Heart of Azeroth or Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve from the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

What is Reshii Wraps
Reshii Wraps is an artifact cloak introduced in Patch 11.2: Ghosts of K’aresh in The War Within.
Below is a quick overview of Reshii Wraps‘ stats and effects:

- Grants the Phase Diving ability, which allows access to hidden areas in raids, dungeons, Delves, and the open world
- Comes with three unique effects based on your role (tank, healer, or DPS)

How to get Reshii Wraps Artifact
To get Reshii Wraps artifact cloak, you need to do the following:
- Reach 80 lvl.
- Enter K’aresh.
- Go to Echo-Dome Primus and find the Reshii Wraps starting quest.
- Start the Echo-Dome: Rhovan quest from Locus-Walker.
- Follow the questline until you reach The Tabiqa quest, which rewards you with the Reshii Wraps.
- Continue the quest chain afterward, as it will teach you How to start Phase Diving and upgrade the Reshii Wraps.
Note
Reshii Wraps is a Warbound item, so you only need to complete the Reshii Wraps questline once, After that, all your alts may be able to skip the questline and receive their version of the Reshii Wraps. Learn how in our Patch 11.2 Campaign skip guide.
Reshii Wraps starting quest
Reshii Wraps starting quest is called Echo-Dome: Rhovan. You can get it in K’aresh by visiting the Locus-Walker in Echo-Dome Primus. The exact location is shown on the map above.
Reshii Wraps stats
Reshii Wraps has a base item level of at least 694, but this may increase up to 730, as players will be able to upgrade the artifact.
It always provides Stamina and Armor bonuses, along with one of your primary stats: Intellect, Strength, or Agility. In addition, the cloak has one customizable second stat bonus and a passive effect that depends on your role (tank, healer, or DPS). Based on your specialization, it will gain one of the additional passive effects listed below.
Reshii Wraps Tank effect
The tank effect is likely the most interesting one, as it provides a useful and smart passive safeguard. You don’t need to activate anything manually: your survivability increases automatically. The shield effect can potentially save you from certain death in critical situations.
Reshii Wraps Healer effect
The main interesting aspect of the Reshii Wrapss’s healer effect is that it provides an absorption shield when a heal exceeds the target’s maximum HP. Since all players will be using Reshii Wraps, this means all healer specs will be able to absorb some damage. The key question is how often this effect will trigger and whether there are ways to maximize its value during encounters.
Reshii Wraps DPS effect
The DPS effect grants bonus AoE damage, which is especially useful for specs that struggle with AoE output. Similar to the healer version, the main questions are how often it will trigger and whether there are ways to increase the number of procs during a fight.
Reshii Wraps talent tree
There are five Reshii Wraps talents that grant additional abilities to the artifact cloak, enhance its stats, increase its ilvl up to 730, and unlock following effects. Here are the Reshii Wraps talents:
- Boon of the Reshii:
- Phase Diving enabled.
- Cloak item level increased from 694 to 701.
- Secrets of the Depths:
- Access to secret rooms in Delves. Learn more in How to skip Bountiful Delves guide.
- While Phase Diving, you can now find Phase Orbs that boost your Primary Stat by 5% for 20 minutes. These orbs also have a chance to grant a Phase-Lost item.
- Cloak item level increased from 701 to 707.
- Orbs of Power:
- While Phase Diving, enemies you kill now have a chance to spawn an energy orb that boosts your Primary Stat by 5% for 5 minutes.
- Enemies defeated while Phase Diving now have a chance to spawn Phase Orbs, identical to those granted by the Secrets of the Depths talent.
- Ground mounts can now be used during Phase Diving.
- Cloak item level increased from 707 to 714.
- What Lies Beyond:
- Enables you to see phased objects in the world while Phase Diving (Phase-Lost Exchequer treasure chests).
- Cloak item level increased from 714 to 720.
- Regalia of the Reshii:
- Reshii Hood and Reshii Mantle cosmetic appearances.
- Cloak item level increased from 720 to 730.
How to upgrade Reshii Wraps

Ethereal Strands are the new Patch 11.2 currency used to upgrade Reshii Wraps. Hashim, located in Overlook Zo’Shuul, will help you upgrade your artifact cloak.
Here is how to get Ethereal Strands:
- Warrant quests in K’aresh
- Delves
- Manaforge Omega raid bosses
- Season 3 dungeons
You need 3 Ethereal Strands to upgrade Reshii Wraps once, but upgrades are limited to one per week: so you can’t speedrun your way to the final talent in week one.

Phase Diving is a new outdoor activity that reveals a hidden layer of K’aresh. Enabled by the Reshii Wraps artifact cloak, players can shift into a form of pure energy, unlocking access to an alternate phase not only in K’aresh but also in dungeons, raids, and Delves. For example, the feature will be available in the new Eco-Dome Al’dani dungeon, the Manaforge Omega raid, and in Delves.

Phase Diving is the only way to enter the Manaforge Omega raid: players will use the powers of the Reshii Wraps to transform into energy and infiltrate the Manaforge’s filtration system.
Reshii Wraps upgrades
This section covers everything currently known about building and upgrading the Reshii Wraps cloak, which becomes available with the release of Patch 11.2. You can upgrade the Reshii Wraps both directly and indirectly by equipping other gear that has synergy with the Artifact.
While full details are not yet confirmed, here’s what we know so far about the Reshii Wraps upgrade system:
- Fully upgrading Reshii Wraps will take several weeks of progression.
- Upgrades require a new currency (Ethereal Strands), which can be earned through multiple activities such as Mythic+, raids, and Delves.
- Developers have confirmed a catch-up system, so missing a week or two won’t put you far behind.
- Special boots and a ring will enhance the effectiveness of the Reshii Wraps‘ procs.
- The next raid’s Renown track will also boost the Reshii Wraps.
Cantrips Boots Reshii Wraps upgrade
The Reshii Wraps proc effect can be enhanced by a set of boots dropped from the Soul Hunters encounter in Manaforge: Omega raid. These boots increase the proc rate of Reshii Wraps effects by 50%, raising it from 2 to approximately 3 procs per minute.

Cantrips Rings Reshii Wraps upgrade
Similarly, a special ring Band of the Shattered Soul dropped by the last Season 3 raid boss Dimensius.
The ring provides an additional bonus to Reshii Wraps procs, by reducing Cosmic damage taken whenever the cloak’s effect triggers. While Cosmic damage is relatively uncommon, it’s expected to appear more frequently within the Patch 11.2 raid.
This Band of the Shattered Soul ring will likely be most useful for tanks, but even for them, its overall value isn’t guaranteed.
Reshii Wraps Fibers socket
There are 4 special gems that can be socketed into Reshii Wraps to grant secondary stats. Some crafting is involved, but the process is expected to be straightforward and not too costly.

- Chronomantic Fiber and Pure Chronomatic Fiber — Haste bonus to Reshii Wraps
- Dexterous Fiber and Pure Dexterous Fiber — Versatility bonus to Reshii Wraps
- Energizing Fiber and Pure Energizing Fiber — Mastery bonus to Reshii Wraps
- Precise Fiber and Pure Precise Fiber — Crit bonus to Reshii Wraps
Reshii Wraps Renown upgrade
The new raid, Manaforge Vandals, will feature its own Renown track, and reaching Rank 6 will increase secondary stats from the Reshii Wraps‘ Fibers socket while inside the raid.
