Patch 11.1 Undermine(d) new features
The Undermine(d) update will feature many new things to explore. We will update this article when we have more information.
Undermine zone
Undermine would be a new zone available from the start of patch 11.1. As mentioned, the new zone will feature a new storyline connected to goblin cartels. We will have an opportunity to join one of the cartels, similar to The Severed Threads and Siren Isle excavations. The four major Goblin cartels are Blackwater, Bilgewater, Steamwheedle, and the iconic Venture Company; however, it is unknown which cartel would be friendly towards players’ shenanigans.
The zone will be a goblin-themed megapolis featuring many explosions and even new ground mounts. The location will not feature at first flying. However, players will have a brand new D.R.I.V.E. mount. Players would be able to traverse the roads of the zone.
The current plotline’s connection to Siren Isle is unknown. We don’t even know how Undermine will resolve into the whole Xal’atath scheme. However, Ion Hazzikostas assured us it would be an exciting plotline. We will also see the plot’s progression in the upcoming patch 11.0.7, which will be released on December 17, 2024.
New Season
The Second Season of War Within will also be available with the release of patch 11.1. It is confirmed that we will get 4 instances from War Within as well as 3 legacy instances and even a new one. Operation: Floodgate is a brand new instance that will be featured in the Undermine(d) update. It will be available for completion on Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ difficulty with the start of the Second Season. We will also get The MOTHERLODE!! Back with the rotation.
The rotation for dungeons will look like this:
- Cinderbrew Meadery
- Darkflame Cleft
- The Rookery
- Priory of Sacred Flame
- The MOTHERLODE!!
- Operation: Floodgate
New Raid
Liberation of Undermine is a brand new 8 bosses Raid that will be available after the Undermine(d) update is released. It will culminate in the Undermine plotline in which the cartels will unite against Prince Gallywix. The Raid will feature many explosions, goblin engineering, and Prince Gallywix. Raiders will venture from the streets of Undermine straight to the Gallywix hideout Gallagio. For more information about this raid, be sure to check out our article here:
D.R.I.V.E.
Blizzard loves to add new types of transporting into the game. With the Undermine(d) 11.1 update, we can wield a D.R.I.V.E. mount vehicle. This transport will go faster than standard ground mounts at a speed exceeding 100 percent. We will also be available to customize it similarly to Dragon from Dragonflight. We should also expect World Events featuring racing on a D.R.I.V.E. mount. It is unknown if Undermine will ever feature flying in its zone.
New Delves
Two brand new Delves will be added to the game. Our beloved companion will venture with us into the Undermine and get new features to surprise enemies. Older Delves will get attention and get revamped versions to complete. Also, with the new season, we will have another big challenge in a secret Delve similar to Zekvir’s Lair.
Warband U.I. updates
We have not yet received new information about Warband U.I. changes; however, Blizzard has teased more customization and changes in their roadmap. Be sure to check our article for updates on this matter.
