The World of Warcraft: Midnight alpha begins October 2, 2025, following the Deep Dive broadcast and live QnA on October 1 at 9 AM (PDT). Invited players will gain access through the Battle.net app and can explore the expansion as testing phases roll out.
The Midnight alpha will roll out in five content phases, gradually unlocking zones, dungeons, and endgame activities:
