How to find willing participants
To receive Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievements, everyone in the raid must know what to do. Otherwise, some necessary objectives will be impossible to complete. So, we recommend four possible ways to find other willing participants:
- Join a guild
Joining a guild is probably one of the best options to find players who will work together during this journey. Ask your guildmates if they want to complete all sub-achievements with you. This way, you can communicate clearly with everyone in the raid, making completing these challenges much easier.
- Group Finder
You can use Group Finder to search for existing raid groups that want to complete these challenges. Or create your own! Such raids will mention the desired achievement in the name or the comments. This might take more time because fewer people are directed toward this goal.
- Discord servers
You can find other single-minded players who want to complete the following achievements at specialized Discord servers, such as WoW Achievements.

- Sikran: Sik Parry Bro

- Ovi’nax: Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm…

Some objectives here can be tricky, but once you receive these, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider and a new amazing mount will be yours. Without further ado, let’s dive into every achievement guide.
Slimy Yet Satisfying guide
To get Slimy Yet Satisfying, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Ulgrax on Normal or higher difficulty, with Spider Silk Grub remaining alive. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- To the back right of the arena is the Spider Silk Grub mob we are interested in saving. Start the Ulgrax fight and click on the Grub. Now you have started the achievement.
- The Grub will run in the opposite direction from the nearest player. Use this knowledge to move it away from Swallowing Darkness and Juggernaut Charge casts.
- Thankfully, the Grub is allied. So, you can heal it if you slightly mess up some mechanics, and it will get hit.
- If your raid is geared up, healers can also concentrate on damaging Ulgrax. This way, you will kill the boss faster, and Grub will have a better chance of surviving.
- Make sure that Grub stays alive and defeat Ulgrax. If successful — you will get Slimy Yet Satisfying achievement.
You Can’t See Me guide
To get You Can’t See Me, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Volatile Ooze during The Bloodbound Horror fight on Normal or higher difficulty. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- First, start the boss fight and get your Gruesome Disgorge debuff. This is a cone frontal attack that sends you into The Unseeming dimension. Normally, the raid splits into two groups and soaks the frontal attack one by one.
- Kill the adds in The Unseeming and start looking for Slimes further from the arena’s edges. It can be hard to find them, so try helping each other by placing marks on their locations.
- Step on the Slimes to get covered in them. Make it so everyone in the raid has the debuff.
- Wait for the adds phase to end and stack up to spawn Volatile Ooze. Kill the Ooze and, afterward, Ulgrax, and get You Can’t See Me achievement.
Sik Parry Bro guide
To get Sik Parry Bro, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Sikran on Normal or higher difficulty while everyone in the raid has Riposte debuff. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- In the room just before Sikran’s arena, find weapon racks. Make sure all four of them were clicked by four of your teammates. Now, these players will have the Extra Action button on their screen.
- Start the boss fight and use picked-up weapons against Sikran. This action applies Riposte debuff on whoever used the weapon. It deals damage to a player and increases all incoming damage. So be sure to start using these actions closer to the end of the fight.
- After using Extra Action and receiving the Riposte debuff, a player will also drop the weapon on the ground. Everyone has to pick and use these weapons on Sikran one by one.
- Once everybody has Riposte debuff on them, kill Sikran and get Sik Parry Bro achievement.
Cowabunga guide
To get Cowabunga, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Rasha’nan on Normal or higher difficulty, while each player was hit by one poison wave during every Rolling Acid cast. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- Start the boss fight and do everything normally, except this time, make sure that one Rolling Acid wave hits everyone in the raid. Everyone has to get a Corrosion debuff stack on every Rolling Acid cast.
- Position your raid in the middle. Once the Rolling Acid cast is set to two random players, position one wave to hit everyone in the raid.
- Keep in mind that Rolling Acid waves move away from targeted players. Make sure to run into your own wave if you are the one positioning Rolling Acid.
- You can receive several Corrosion debuff stacks, but it is important to get hit only by one wave at a time.
- Kill Rasha’nan while following this mechanic and get Cowabunga achievement.
Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm… guide
To get Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm…, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Ovi’nax after everyone in the raid /love’d a Disheartened Worm. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- On your way to the boss, choose one player to grab the egg and bring it to the arena. It slows the player who carries it by 50%, but this must not be a big deal.
- Start the boss fight and wait for Ovi’nax to cast Experimental Dosage upon two players. Make sure that the egg-carrier stands in both zones of this cast.
- Once double Experimental Dosage impacts the egg, a Disheartened Worm will hatch from it. This mob is hostile, so be careful not to kill it.
- All players in the raid must use /love on the little buddy. Once done, you will get Affectionate buff. We recommend preparing the following macros before the fight:
/target Disheartened Worm
/love
/targetlasttarget
That way, you won’t have to find it during the fight and type the command in the chat.
- After everyone /love’d this little cutie and got Affectionate buff, making the Disheartened Worm allied, kill Ovi’nax, and get Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm… achievement.
Kill Streak guide
To get Kill Streak, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Ky’veza while she has the Kill Streak buff. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- When you enter Ky’veza’s arena, find a Burning Diary. Choose one person to use it and witness how Ky’veza mercilessly insta-kills them. After this action, the boss fight will immediately start, and the Ky’veza will gain a Kill Streak buff for 1 minute.
- To renovate the Kill Streak timer, someone has to die during the encounter. Keep track of the remaining time, and make sure to let someone die before it expires. We recommend saying ”Goodbye” to one of your raid members during every Nether Rift phase. Or just warn your Tank that you will use taunt so the boss kills you in a few hits.
- Kill Ky’veza while following this mechanic and get Kill Streak achievement.
Love is in the Lair guide
To get Love is in the Lair, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must kill Silken Court. But Takazj and Anub’arash need to both have Bond of Friendship buff during the fight. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- Before the boss fight, travel to two locations near the boss arena. Find Anub’arash Plushy and Takazj’s Favorite Candy. Picking up each of these interactable items will add an Extra Action button on your screen.
- Just before the fight, use Anub’arash Plushy on Anub’arash and Takazj’s Favorite Candy on Takazj. Now, the bosses will get a Bond of Friendship buff. This buff makes them heal for somewhere about 1% of maximum health every second if they are near each other. Be careful not to pull them before they get this buff. These items can be used only before the battle starts.
- Don’t stack them in one place. Kill them and get Love is in the Lair achievement.
Missed ‘Em by That Much guide
To get Missed ‘Em by That Much, Glory of the Nerub’ar Raider sub-achievement, you must defeat Ansurek once everyone in the raid interacted with Abyssal Conduits to fly under her model while she casts Frothing Gluttony. Here is the guide on how to do it:
- This achievement has to be completed during the third phase of the boss fight. So first, reach the third phase, where you will encounter Queen Ansurek on the top platform.
- When the boss uses Abyssal Conduit on two players, bring both portals on opposite sides of the central hole of the arena. Once Ansurek uses Frothing Gluttony, make sure that everyone uses portals to travel underneath her model (no blinks or immunes!). If done correctly, you will get Missed ‘Em by That Much buff.
- After every player gained the Missed ‘Em by That Much buff, kill Ansurek and get Missed ‘Em by That Much achievement.
