This Dornogal flight bug can make you lose your time and money

Recently, players started to suffer from an unpleasant bug in Dornogal. If you take a flight path from or to the Dornogal zone and get teleported to any dungeon or battleground, you may end up under the map. Here are examples of actions that can leave you stuck or unable to recover your body, which makes you waste your gold on repairs.

When does the Dornogal bug happen?

Dornogal flight bug can occur when players are teleported to any instance or battleground while taking flight paths in Dornogal zone. This means if you use the services of any Flight Master and get teleported while being in the city zone, you may face a bug when you appear in out-of-bounds under the map. Players confirmed that both Looking For Group (LFG) and Warlock’s summoning teleportations can end you facing this bug.

Why does the community hate this bug already?

There are always two biggest issues when it comes to falling out-of-bounds: getting stuck in a disconnect zone or dying under the map. The community already hates both of these problems related to this Dornogal bug.

The first case in the Dornogal flight bug is conditioned by the players accidentally reaching a disconnect zone. Such places are impossible for an eye to identify and can end you in a disconnect loop. The game understands that the player is somewhere where it is not supposed to be, kicking you from the server. But since you are technically still under the map, you won’t be able to log in until you use an unstuck service. If you face this issue, contact Blizzard support to release your character from this trap.

The second problem you might run into is dying in out-of-bounds. As we all know, once you die, you can recover your body by getting closer to your death spot in a spirit form. Normally, this is what you would do not to face a revival penalty and Resurrection Sickness from the Spirit Healer for reviving you in the graveyard. Revival penalty makes all your items equipped and in inventory take a 50% durability damage. Repairing all this damage can cost quite a lot of gold, making this bug fairly annoying. You will likely lose approximately 500 gold every time you face this outcome.

Last thoughts

Sadly, there is no known solution to fixing this bug for players themselves. For now, we have to wait for Blizzard to solve this problem with the Dornogal bug on their side. We hope to see this issue solved in the nearest hotfix. Facing bugs in games is inevitable, so WoW is no exception. Since the release of The War Within expansion, there have been some bugs and problems here and there. You can read about some of them in our blog:
