In Midnight Season 2, Valeera is the only companion available for players in Delves. Just like with Brann, Valeera has Curios that change her playstyle and give advantage to your Delve runs. There are plenty of curios for Valeera. It can be pretty tricky to pick the best loadout that suits your runs in Tier 8+ Delves.

What are Delves curios and how to find them
Curios are upgrades for your Delves companions. They are obtained and added to your pull from Delves chests at the end of successfully completed Delves. Curios four ranks and can be upgraded upon finding higher rank Curios.
Curios empower your companions giving them extra abilities or add helpful passives to their kit. Choosing a good combination of combat and utility loadout can heavily impact Valeera’s performance, making your Delves Tier 8+ runs much better.
Valeera Curios Season 2
In Midnight Season 2, Valeera has a completely new set of six Curios: three Combat Curios and three Utility Curios. You can equip one Combat and one Utility Curio at a time, regardless of whether Valeera is set to Tank, Healer, or DPS.

Season 2 Curios must be collected and upgraded again. Each Curio has four ranks, with higher-rank versions becoming available as you progress through higher Delve tiers.

- Combat Curios:
- Corrosive Bilespear: Valeera has a chance during combat to impale nearby enemies with a Corrosive Bilespear, dealing heavy Nature damage.
- Essence Trap: Valeera periodically places traps during combat. Enemies that approach a trap are slowed before it detonates, dealing Nature damage and stunning targets caught inside.
- Ouroboric Curse: When a player’s health falls below 50%, nearby enemies are Horrified while the affected player gains increased Primary Stat, Leech, Avoidance, and Speed. Killing Poisoned enemies reduces the effect’s remaining cooldown.
- Utility Curios:
- Dundun’s Favor: Mislaid Spirits can appear near you during combat. Walking over a Mislaid Spirit or Mislaid Curiosity launches Volatile Sprites at nearby enemies, dealing additional damage.
- Soul-Cracking Dreamcatcher: Interrupting or crowd-controlling an Elite enemy causes it to take increased damage, making this particularly useful against dangerous Elite enemies.
- Venom Infusion: Party members become Poisoned when entering combat, periodically losing a small amount of health while gaining Movement Speed and Haste based on their current health.
Best curios for Valeera in Delves Tier 8+
There is currently a clear all-purpose Curio combination for players pushing Tier 8 and higher Delves:
- Corrosive Bilespear (Combat): Currently one of the strongest general-purpose Combat Curios. It provides substantial passive damage and works well in both large pulls and tougher encounters where additional damage helps shorten dangerous fights.
- Soul-Cracking Dreamcatcher (Utility): The best general Utility Curio for high-tier Delves. Interrupting or crowd-controlling Elite enemies increases the damage they take, giving you a powerful damage amplifier against some of the most dangerous enemies in a Delve.
This combination is a strong choice for Valeera regardless of whether you use her as a Tank, Healer, or DPS companion.
Valeera Poisons in Season 2
Season 2 also introduces an important change to Valeera’s customization. Poisons are no longer automatically determined by her Tank, Healer, or DPS role. Instead, you can equip a Poison separately alongside your Combat and Utility Curios.
Valeera has six Poison options in total:
- Phantasmal Spore Toxin: Poisoned attacks can interrupt and briefly Fear enemies, providing additional crowd control.
- Bloodcrypt Toxin: Reduces the damage and Haste of enemies struck by poisoned weapons, making it a useful defensive option for difficult Delves.
- Poison of the Forgotten Master: Increases your damage while you remain in combat without taking damage. The effect gains additional stacks over time but is lost when you are hit.
- Soulthirst Venom: Increases Leech, Avoidance, and Speed, providing a mixture of survivability and mobility.
- Bursting Toad Toxin: Enemies struck by poisoned weapons can burst with poison, dealing Nature damage to nearby enemies and making it especially useful for AoE pulls.
- Frostheart Venom: Slows affected enemies and reduces their attack and casting speeds, giving you additional control and survivability.
