Marvel Rivals DPS tier list

Let’s take a look at all DPS heroes, divided into 5 tiers from S (strongest) to D (weakest).

S-tier: Best DPS

Marvel Rivals s-tier best dps storm, magic and mr fantastic

Storm, Magik, Mister Fantastic

These three heroes are performing exceptionally well across all ranks. You’ve probably encountered them often yourself, as their pick rates are notably high. That said, Storm doesn’t seem to be picked as often as her strength suggests. She excels at securing kills and consistently ranks high in damage statistics. Storm becomes even more powerful when paired with Thor and Captain America — this trio is one of the strongest team-ups in the game.

Magik also delivers great results and is a hero that rewards skill. She performs increasingly well at higher ranks, scaling with player experience. The more skilled you are, the more value you’ll get out of her. However, her playstyle may feel less comfortable for beginners. As a fragile melee flanker, she requires good positioning and awareness. That’s why we often see a high death rate at lower levels, where players aren’t yet sure how to capitalize on her strengths or when to avoid face-to-face fights with tankier Duelists.

Mister Fantastic thrives particularly well in the lower ranks, though his effectiveness gradually drops off as you climb. Still, he shouldn’t be written off as a noob hero — even at the Eternity rank, he remains solid, just not at the very top. Check out our Mr Fantastic guide to learn more.

A-tier: Strong DPS

Hela, Star Lord, Iron Fist, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Iron Man

A-tier Duelists remain highly effective, so don’t make the mistake of underestimating them. Their stats may not look impressive at first glance, but that often reflects the general playerbase not fully understanding how to use these heroes. This is especially true for Iron Fist — arguably the most skill-demanding DPS hero in the current meta. His performance at the Bronze level is quite poor, but at Eternity rank, he stands out as the top Duelist, even outperforming the S-tier heroes mentioned above.

Another standout in this tier is Winter Soldier — a utility powerhouse and a reliable choice in nearly any situation. He also happens to be the most picked DPS hero in the current meta. While many players rank him as an S-tier Duelist, the data doesn’t quite support that. Still, don’t let the numbers discourage you. A-tier heroes are undeniably strong and capable of dominating in the right hands.

B-tier: Good DPS

Scarlet Witch, Spier Man, Wolverine, Psylocke

B-tier heroes are still quite popular among players (though maybe not Wolverine—sorry, old man). Sometimes, that popularity actually hurts their overall performance stats. It’s tough to maintain a decent win rate when a hero is widely picked by newbies. You can call it the “Spider-Man problem,” and it helps explain why these heroes don’t rank higher in this tier list.

That said, at higher levels of play, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Psylocke show much more potential and could easily compete for A-tier status among DPS heroes. This is especially true for Wolverine, who is the most banned hero at higher ranks. In skilled hands, he can counter any tank—so if he isn’t banned in your lobby, give Wolverine a chance.

Scarlet Witch, meanwhile, remains a solid pick across all ranks, but she doesn’t quite shine as a Duelist and struggles to break into the top tiers.

C-tier: Mediocre DPS

Namor, The Punisher, Human Torch, Squirrel Girl, Hawkeye, Moon Knight

These six heroes are missing something. While some, like Squirrel Girl and Moon Knight, excel at dealing high damage, that doesn’t always translate to overall effectiveness. For instance, even though they consistently rack up damage numbers, they often struggle to convert that into eliminations. As a result, enemy healers can easily negate their impact, especially in higher ranks, where both heroes tend to underperform.

On the other hand, Human Torch also puts out impressive damage—but unlike the others, he’s far more effective at turning it into eliminations. This makes him a surprisingly strong option in higher ranks. However, he still struggles at lower levels, likely due to weaker individual performance and a lack of coordinated team play.

D-tier: Weak DPS

Black Widow

It’s time to address the elephant in the room — Black Widow is in a really rough spot. No matter the rank, her performance is consistently underwhelming. Even at Eternity level, she struggles to outperform anyone aside from Squirrel Girl and Moon Knight — and that’s not exactly a high bar. Black Widow has a noticeably negative impact on team win rates, making her one of the weakest Duelists right now. A buff is definitely needed.

For now, if a teammate picks Black Widow, it might be worth suggesting they switch to someone like Rocket Raccoon instead.

Marvel Rivals DPS tier list criteria

We created this tier list based on the in-game performance and win rates of heroes, using extensive data gathered from the Rivalstracker website. Our focus was on DPS heroes’ win rates across competitive mode, covering all ranks from Bronze up to One Above All. The heroes are sorted strictly by win rate, with each tier grouping characters that share similar statistical performance.

This tier list offers a helpful overview of the current Marvel Rivals meta but shouldn’t be taken as a definitive guide for choosing which hero to play. It’s a general representation based on broad statistics, which may not fully reflect individual playstyles or personal experiences.

You can still underperform with an S-tier hero or climb the ladder using a C or even D-tier character. It all depends on your skill, effort, and playstyle. Most importantly, the goal is to have fun—so stick with the heroes you enjoy playing the most.
