Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Live-Action Commercial Leaked

Update

And The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s official live-action ad is out, folks! Enjoy the new footage!

Original Post

The aftermath of Nintendo’s legal pursuit of the individual responsible for spreading the Zelda art book remains a hot topic of discussion. Yet, another leaker has recently surfaced. Merely hours ago, a Reddit user known as Foulowe59 shared an uncompleted commercial for Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) on the r/zelda subreddit.

While some scenes we have had the chance to witness in the final pre-launch trailer, there are also some never-before-seen glimpses of the game. Among these, the reappearance of Gleeok, a recurring boss of the series, is confirmed. Based on what we see in the ad and Breath of the Wild, it seems Gleeok will play a similar role as Hinoxes and Taluses in TotK’s prequel. Moreover, the trailer clearly identifies the three-headed dragon as a “Flame Gleeok.” Thus, there’s a high possibility that other elements will be at play as well.

The source of the video remains a mystery, and its acquisition method is yet to be determined. Fans are, of course, more than thrilled to witness fresh footage. But the example set for #Julien2743 has generated concern within the community. After all, the fate of this time’s leaker is hanging in the balance with potential legal consequences.

It’s only one month until May 12. And it’s an excruciatingly long period that Zelda fans will have to push through. However, with the wealth of information that Nintendo has released and all of these leaks, the community will have a lot of interesting information to go by and await yet another masterpiece.
