We are three weeks away from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)’s official release. Yet, for some reason, some gamers claim to have already gotten their hands on early copies of the game. This news has sparked concerns amongst devoted fans. After all, no one wants to fall victim to leaks and spoilers before the game’s official launch date on May 12.
Nintendo has been teasing fans with glimpses of the game’s new features in all of its latest trailers and the 10-minute gameplay demo. We also got to see more in the live-action commercial leak and the official 50-second video on their Japanese YouTube channel. It’s no doubt that the excitement surrounding BotW’s sequel is reaching a sizzling fever.
However, with the news of some gamers already possessing copies of the game ahead of its launch date, the Zelda community is plunged into apprehension. Those with TotK on their Switch have been showing off their screenshots all over Twitter and Facebook.
