What is Trials of Osiris map this week

In Edge of Fate’s Trials of Osiris Guardians will have to fight on the following map: Burnout.

We can recommend a loadout from our best PvP weapons guide!

What is Trials of Osiris

Eventide Labs map in Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris.

The simplest explanation of what Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris is that it’s a temporary endgame PvP activity available from Friday to Tuesday, where the top players gather for 3v3 elimination battles. All these difficult battles are necessary to obtain the game’s best loot and reach The Lighthouse. Like all activities, Trials of Osiris features a rotation of weapons and maps crucial in determining when to play.

Note

All Power Level bounuses are disabled in Trials of Osiris, so each guardian will have a fair fight.

Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris weapons 2025

Trials of Osiris traits in Edge of Fate.

Trials of Osiris weapons differ from other guns in that they have not one but two Origin Traits designed explicitly for Trials:

Now, let’s look at the Trials of Osiris weapons themselves and how you can use them.

Auric Disabler Auto Rifle

This Auto Rifle isn’t particularly impressive, and only the Onslaught paired with either Slice or Dragonfly might make it viable, though even that is a stretch.

Aureus Neutralizer Hand Cannon

Trials weapon this week 2025.

This is a solid weapon for melee-focused builds, especially when used for boss damage. In that case, the Threat Detector + One-Two Punch or Trench Barrel combo is highly effective. Alternatively, Cascade Point is a great choice to boost overall damage output with this Hand Cannon.

Aisha’s Embrace Scout Rifle

Trials weapon this week August 2025.

The new perk pool makes this Scout Rifle much stronger than before. Destabilizing Rounds is the go-to choice in the fourth column, while your third-column perk depends on your playstyle. Vorpal Weapon provides consistent damage if you’re using Aisha’s Embrace as a primary damage dealer, while Rapid Hit and Demolitionist offer great synergy for Void builds.

Forgiveness Sidearm

Trials weapon this week EoF.

This isn’t considered one of the best weapons in the game, mainly due to the underwhelming perks in the fourth column. The third column also lacks a lot of strong options, leaving limited room for impactful perk combinations.

Unwavering Duty Machine Gun

Trials weapon this week.

This Machine Gun offers a wide variety of perk combinations. In the fourth column, Killing Tally is the most popular choice, but Burning Ambition and Bait & Switch also create strong and interesting builds. The third column features several excellent options that elevate Unwavering Duty into a top-tier Machine Gun.

How to Unlock Trials of Osiris 2025

Chances are, you ran into a wall when trying to jump straight into Trials. That’s because there are a few requirements you need to clear first:
1. Purchase Edge of Fate DLC
2. Complete the Trials Access quest (available at Saint-14 in the Tower after you complete New Light onboarding experience) Defeat 50 opponents in Competitive mode
3. Complete Placement Matches in the Competitive playlist
4. Achieve the Season Power Level Soft Cap without Artifact
Once you return to Saint-14, take the desired Trials Passage ticket, and you can play the game.

How to get to the Lighthouse in Trials?

Players no longer need a flawless 7-0 card to reach the Lighthouse. Now, simply winning 7 total matches, regardless of whether they’re consecutive, grants access. However, maintaining a win streak still plays a key role in earning the best rewards.
Here’s what you can get with only participation:
Enhancement Prisms
Base Trials Weapon
Trials Armor
Osirian Ciphers
45% chance for Ascendant Shard

What are the Win Streak rewards in Trials of Osiris?

1-Win Streak:
Enhancement Cores (3-5x)
Weapon Mod (x1)
Ghost Shell progress points
Emblem (first-time only)

3-Win Streak:
Trials Armor piece

5-Win Streak:
Trials Memento
Shaders

What can I get from Trials of Osiris Engrams?

Trials of Osiris engrams can be obtained by completing Trials of Osiris matches and achieving a new rank at Saint-14. So you’ll have to play this activity one way or another. In terms of loot, you can receive a random Trials weapon from the current pool or Armor.

Can I focus Trials Engrams?

Yes, you can focus Trials Engrams on the loot you need. Each item has its own price, namely:
Current Weapons or Armor (previously unlocked) — 1 Engram
Legacy Weapons or Armor (not previously acquired) — 7 Engrams

Legacy gear focusing allows you to obtain older Trials weapons and armor sets that are no longer in the current loot pool. This includes items like the Pyrrhic Ascent and Exile armor sets.

What Trials of Osiris Passages are available and What to pick?

Lighthouse Passage – Best choice if you’re aiming to reach the Lighthouse with any combination of 7 wins.
Standard Trials Passage – Great for casual play, with improved matchmaking and increased reputation rewards.

How to get Trials of Osiris Cosmetics and What are available to obtain?

Cosmetic rewards in Trials of Osiris are now tied to a point-based system. Players accumulate points by completing challenges, winning matches, and opening the Lighthouse chest. As points accumulate, the chance of earning a cosmetic item increases, with a guaranteed drop upon reaching 1,000 points in a specific reward pool. After obtaining a cosmetic, points in that pool reset, and a knockout system ensures that duplicates are avoided, allowing players to eventually collect all available items.
The cosmetic rewards are categorized into distinct pools:
Vehicles (Ships and Sparrows): These are exclusive to players achieving high win streaks in Trials matches.
Ghost Shells: Accessible to all players, but progress toward earning them is faster for those reaching the Lighthouse or maintaining high win streaks.
Emblems: Unique emblems, such as the Lighthouse-Keeper, are awarded to top-performing players who consistently achieve high win streaks.

How do I get and upgrade Trials of Osiris Armor?

It’s not that hard to get Trials of Osiris Armor and upgrade them later.
Try to achieve a 3 win streak or higher. In this case you will guarantee Armor piece as your weekly reward.
Focus Trials Engrams at Saint-14 to get specific Armor pieces.
Play Trials matches. It raises your Trials Rank. As your rank goes up, you can earn Armor rewards at certain levels.
Unlock Armor Glows. If you go Flawless and wear your Trials gear, you’ll get a yellow glow. It lasts for a week and fades over time. To get it back, you need to go Flawless again.
