Destiny 2 Broken Blade of Strife: Secret Exotic Quest Found by Fishing

While chilling by the fishing ponds, some Destiny 2 players have managed to haul up a fascinating item. Known as the “Broken Blade of Strife,” its mysterious nature has no doubt piqued the curiosity of the gaming community. And thus, speculations abound that it could hold the key to an unannounced Exotic weapon quest

What Is The Broken Blade of Strife And How to Get It?

The Broken Blade of Strife is a fragmented item that has just become available recently.

You can get it by finishing the Fishing Rally: Throne World quest with Hawthorne. Following the quest, you will end up in the Throne World. Try to fish for the newly-unlocked aquatic creature called Whispering Mothcarp in the Miasma region. It may take a while. But if you succeed, bring it back to the HELM’s aquarium. Release it as usual, and the moment has arrived for you to get that blade.

It’s important to note that you can only get the mentioned item with the deposit of the Whispering Mothcarp. Any other fish, even an Exotic one, won’t have the same result.

What to Do with the Broken Blade of Strife?

After earning the Broken Blade of Strife, you can place it in a specific statue in the submerged part of the Deep Dives activity. Reaching it requires some actions from you. So, check out the video below for more in-depth information:
