TWW bug: You can attack Brann Bronzebeard in Delves
Despite being a friendly companion, players can actually attack Brann Bronzebeard in Delves now.
In recent days, WoW players have encountered a peculiar bug involving Brann Bronzebeard in Delves. Many adventurers are facing Brann as a hostile unit. Although Brann doesn’t attack and continues to fulfill his role, the dwarf is definitely angry as he turns hostile towards his entire party.
The situation was first reported by Redditor Ryulen. According to the player, everyone in their party could attack Brann and drain his health. This led to several frustrating moments where players accidentally targeted Brann instead of the actual mobs. And while the party managed to complete the Delve without major complications, it was pretty frustrating. After all, Brann turning hostile means that they couldn’t directly heal him. Players could only restore Brann’s health using indirect spells like Wild Growth and Rejuvenation.
Ryulen wasn’t the only player who encountered this bug. Level-Palpitation-44 also suffered from the same issue and managed to capture a screenshot of Brann’s “disruptive” behavior.
The exact cause of Brann’s hostile behavior remains unclear. While it’s undoubtedly a bug, the underlying reason is still a matter of debate. Some members of the WoW community speculate that it may be linked to cross-faction mechanics. Reddit user SaadiaTinou noted that the issue consistently arises in cross-faction groups, stating, “Every time I leave a delve as the leader, other players immediately see Brann hostile if they’re from other faction, so I guess something’s broken about that.”
However, not all players agree with this theory. Reddit user Skizzik1 reported that their all-Horde group also experienced hostility from Brann, suggesting that the bug may not be limited to cross-faction interactions.
