Players of World of Warcraft are eager to play as the new Earthen allied race in The War Within. However, more time is needed, as the requirements to unlock them won’t be available until September 3. Although many fans hoped to access the Earthen during early access, they’ll have to wait a little longer to create their stone dwarf characters.
The War Within is the 10th expansion of World of Warcraft and the first in the Worldsoul saga. It is officially live and brings an array of new content. Among the expansion’s most anticipated features is the Earthen race, the stone dwarves native to Khaz Algar. These ancient beings, now introduced as World of Warcraft’s latest allied race, have a rich history and unique abilities that make them a significant addition to the game’s lore.

Players must complete the The War Within campaign to unlock the new race and some side quests. However, the final chapters of the endgame campaign are currently unavailable. According to a post by community manager Kaivax on the official WoW forum, these final chapters will finally be released on September 3, allowing fans to unlock the Earthen. The delay frustrates Some players, as the Earthen was initially advertised as an early access perk of The War Within. Despite this disappointment, players can use the time to complete all other prerequisites so that, come September 3, they can be among the first to emerge as Earthen from the Awakening Machine in World of Warcraft.
