How to start flying in Siren Isle
Flying on Siren Isle is initially impossible due to the strong Seafury Tempests, but players can unlock the ability to fly by upgrading Cyrce’s Circlet. This powerful upgrade is obtained through a series of weekly quests, each unlocking a new ability that aids in navigating the island’s treacherous environment.
The questline begins with The Radiant Vault, which rewards you with Cyrce’s Circlet and teaches you how to socket and unsocket gems. In the second week, completing Dipping a Toe grants you the Blessing of the Seadweller, allowing you to walk and swim faster underwater while breathing easily and finding treasures on the seafloor. Week three unlocks Juicing Up and Storming Out, giving you the Superjuiced ability, enabling you to activate powerful devices like the TR-06 Pummeler and N.U.K.U.L.A.R Target Painter during Seafury Tempests.
In week four, completing Unleashing Her Power rewards you with Cyrce’s Zephyr, which adds a chance for your abilities to trigger a powerful burst of Singing Citrine effects. Week five’s The Singing Bandit Catcher grants the Thieves of the Siren power, helping you detect invisible enemies attempting to steal Flame-Blessed Iron. Finally, the last quest in the series, Cyrce Would Be So Proud, unlocks Wings of the Siren, allowing you to control the winds and take flight on the island.
If you miss a week or two, don’t worry—you can catch up by completing any missed quests in the following week. This gradual progression will help you master the challenges of Siren Isle, from navigating its seas to soaring through the skies.
However, the ability to fly is inconsistent, and because of the Siren Isle storm mechanic, you won’t be able to fly in a zone when Seafury Tempest is active. During the storms on the Siren Isle, enemies will change to marine monsters, and you will have new activities available. After completing storm events, the Siren Isle will return to its regular state, and you can fly again. Refer to our Siren Isle overview article to learn more about the zone.

Why do players want flying in Siren Isle
Players on the PTR first-week release have been seeking ways to fly on the Siren Isle. Due to the “High Winds” debuff, players’ flying ability was restricted while on the Isle. This may seem like a little problem; however, when you compare the size of the location to other parts of the Azeroth, you will understand that Flying would be necessary. To better understand the size of the Siren Isle, you may want to take a look at X user Soul’s comparison of the Isle with Mechagon, a large zone by the BFA expansion standards.
Before that, he also made a comparison of Dornogal and Siren Isle.
Why flying in Siren Isle is limited in the first place
The “High Winds” debuff removes the initial ability to fly in the zone. It was implemented because Blizzard wanted to keep the zone exploration philosophy from Dragonflight into the game. With limiting traveling factors players would be exploring new zones, completing questlines, and engaging the lore of locations. However, the zone is still large and it would take lots of time for players who will be visiting this zone to complete various quests. That’s why Blizzard will add flying eventually at Week 6 of Siren Isle update.
