Dragonflight Season 4 gear upgrade bug: Fix is coming soon

Dragonflight Season 4 gear upgrade bug has been quite a pain since it suddenly appeared recently. Fortunately, a fix is on the way.

Blizzard has acknowledged a critical issue preventing players from upgrading their Season 4 gear in Dragonflight. The developers are working on a fix planned to roll out on Tuesday, July 16, at 7 AM (PT) or 10 AM (ET). All US WoW servers will be restarted during the scheduled server downtime. It’s advisable to plan your in-game activities accordingly to avoid disruptions.

The Season 4 gear upgrade bug has been a significant pain point for the WoW community. Across the realms of Azeroth, players have voiced complaints about being unable to upgrade Season 4 items at the Item Upgrades vendor, often limited to upgrading only Season 2 items. Understanding this, Blizzard has acknowledged the inconvenience caused and extended apologies to affected players.
