In Midnight Season 1, Valeera is the only companion available for players in Delves. Just like with Brann, Valeera has Curios that change her playstyle and give advantage to your Delve runs. There are plenty of curios for Valeera. It can be pretty tricky to pick the best loadout that suits your runs in Tier 8+ Delves.

What are Delves curios and how to find them
Curios are upgrades for your Delves companions. They are obtained and added to your pull from Delves chests at the end of successfully completed Delves. Curios four ranks and can be upgraded upon finding higher rank Curios.
Curios empower your companions giving them extra abilities or add helpful passives to their kit. Choosing a good combination of combat and utility loadout can heavily impact Valeera’s performance, making your Delves Tier 8+ runs much better.
Valeera Curios Season 1
In Season 1 Valeera has 10 Curios, 5 Combat and 5 Utility Curios. You can equip 1 Combat and 1 Utility Curio. The complete list of Valeera Curio is:
- Combat curios:
- Holy Bounding Hand Grenade: Your companion may throw a grenade that deals Holy damage and stuns for 1.5 sec. It has a 50% chance to bounce to another target and can safely bounce off allies.
- Mantle of Stars: When an ally drops below 40% HP, they gain a shield for 50% of their max health. Nearby enemies are knocked up and take 25% increased damage for 12 sec. 1.5 min cooldown.
- Nether Entropic Kris: Applies a 30-sec Void damage effect. Each tick has a 25% chance to spread to 2 nearby enemies, stacking up to 40 times. Spreads on death.
- Porcelain Blade Tip: Your companion’s abilities may increase enemies’ crit chance taken by 20% for 9 sec.
- Sanctum’s Edict: Your companion gains Blessings in combat (more from elites). Each stack increases damage and healing by 1%. At 30 stacks, converts 60% HP into a shield that boosts the effect.
- Utility curios:
- Ebon Crown of Subjugation: Opening curios summons followers that grant 2% primary stat each (up to 12). At 6+, each follower gives increased stats.
- Mandate of Sacred Death: Companion buffs allies’ attacks with a chance to deal bonus Holy damage based on enemy max HP. Small chance to execute non-boss enemies. Limited by a short cooldown per target.
- Motionless Nulltide: Standing still builds stacks (max 20) that increase movement speed. Jumping at max converts stacks into Haste for 30 sec and knocks up enemies. 20 sec cooldown.
- Overflowing Voidspire: After 25 sec in combat, party gains 18% increased damage and healing for 35 sec. 35 sec cooldown.
- Time Lost Edict: Creates a zone that speeds up allies (movement, cooldowns, casts) by 20% and slows enemies. Lasts 12 sec.
Best curios for Valeera in Delves Tier 8+
In Season 1, currently there is not much variety in choosing Curios as there are clearly better options for all Valeera specs (Tank, Healer, DPS). Before getting Any Rank 3 Curios, choose one that is the higher tier. Starting from Rank 3 you should choose.
- Porcelain Blade Tip (Combat): Weakens enemies increasing your chance to hit them critically by 20% on max Rank. Basically increases your DPS significantly, especially during last stages.
- Mandate of Sacred Death (Utility): Get Mandates from Ore/Herbs nodes, then deal percent health damage based on the number of mandates.
Although there is one exception to this rule, and it comes to leveling in Delves. When you are leveling your alts, it’s much better to use Ebon Crown of Subjugation, as you will most likely speedrun through Tier 1 Delves, and this Curio is much better for this cause.
