Welcome, heroes of Azeroth, to your most efficient Mists of Pandaria Classic Blacksmithing guide from level 1 to 525. If you want to find a list of in-depth guides for each primary profession in MoP Classic, be sure to check out this article here:
Why you should choose Blacksmithing as your Profession
Blacksmithing offers substantial benefits, especially for classes that rely on plate armor and weapons, such as Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights. Blacksmiths can craft a variety of items, from unique transmogs and powerful equipment to Epic and Legendary Pieces. This provides personal and guild-wide advantages, particularly in progression raiding. And you can also sell your crafted items on the Auction House for profit.
In Mists of Pandaria Classic, each profession offers its owner a unique, significant boost. If you choose Blacksmithing as your Profession, you can add an additional gem socket to your Bracers and Gloves, allowing you to use 2 more gems in your gear. These additional sockets are even better if using Epic quality gems.
What is the best combo with Blacksmithing in WoW?

Blacksmithing’s best combo in MoP Classic is Mining due to the substantial material requirements. As you level up your Mining profession, you’ll gather ore and other essential materials needed for Blacksmithing, which can be used to efficiently level your skill. This synergy benefits Blacksmithing both during the leveling process and at the profession’s maximum level. It also offers the advantage of potentially earning gold by selling crafted gear, rods for Enchanters, and weapon chains.
