General’s Cry Berserker Build Overview

In this article, I want to share my impressions of playing the General’s Cry Blade Flurry Berserker build. This is not the most popular build, however, its DPS is completely incomparable to the budget of the build. The main purpose of the build is to deal with bosses, but it also performs decently in all other aspects of the game.

During the first week or so, I defeated all the endgame bosses, including The Feared. Simple bosses like Shaper and Elder can be defeated with level 80-85, Ichimongi, and 6-link General’s Cry.

To defeat bosses like Maven and Sirus, you should definitely buy the Paradoxica Vaal Rapier, however, you don’t need the best perks, the cheapest one will work just fine. Let’s move on to the different stages of the build:

Starter Set

Ichimonji
Redblade Banner (important)
Abyssus
Ryslatha Coil
In the rest of the slots, you need to get rare items with resistance to elements and health

Mid Budget

Change Ichimonji to Paradoxica
Brass Dome for survivability
Asenath’s Gentle Touch for better mapping
Hyrri’s Truth

High Budget

Boots with Tailwind and Elusive
Brutal Restraint Timeless Jewel with Nasima
Upgrade your rare items, for example, you can change the ring to a vermillion base
Change Brass Dome to Astral Plate with max res, life, additional curse, flat crit

This build can work with minimal investment if you’re only going to defeat bosses. For 30 waves of Simulacrum or Feared on high quantity, you will need a budget of 100-150 Exalts.

Build Mechanics

Primary Cyclone Links:

Desecrate
Cast While Channeling
Infused Channelling Support

This allows you to summon corpses when you cast a cyclone. General’s Cry summons phantom warriors from corpses that use the skill in the link, in our build it’s Blade Flurry. All these combos allow us to deal huge damage thanks to the non-stop appearance of phantom warriors.
