WoW’s 20th Anniversary date set for October 22 to January 4
Finally, WoW’s 20th Anniversary date has been recently revealed, and it’s really something to celebrate!
As you may know, in its announcement on September 4, Blizzard revealed that the celebration would run through November and December. What’s important is that data from the PTR build of Patch 11.0.5, datamined by Wowhead, not only confirms this but also unveils the exact event dates!
For instance, the Timewalking WoW Classic dungeons event is set to run from October 22 at 8 AM to October 29 at 7 AM. Meanwhile, the WoW 20th Anniversary event will last from October 22 at 8 AM until January 4 at 6 AM.
Oddly, these events haven’t appeared on the in-game calendar yet. This leads to the question: Will Patch 11.0.5, featuring class-specific talent updates, new Dracthyr classes, and a visual update for Dark Ranger Hunters, be released by October 22 or even earlier?
Well, for now, it’s a mystery to uncover, and the fact that it’s also the last update set for 2024 makes future content plans vague for the community. Hopefully, as we get closer to the event, Blizzard will share more details!
With that being said, what do you think about this piece of news? Also, do you have any guesses about the potential Patch 11.0.5 release date? Let us know in the comments!
