WoW addons on GeForce NOW: over 25 CurseForge top mods
Just like on PC, you can use WoW addons on GeForce NOW. With over 25 CurseForge mods available, you’re fully equipped for your upcoming adventures in The War Within!
Following our June update, all World of Warcraft expansions are now available on GeForce NOW. Among them, the latest expansion, The War Within, will be accessible at launch on August 26, 2024. To sweeten the deal, GFN members now also have full access to in-game mods, thanks to a partnership with CurseForge.
This collaboration offers over 25 top WoW addons, including interface customizations, combat enhancements, quest helpers, and more. However, please note that this feature is available exclusively to Ultimate, Priority, and Day Pass members.
How to install WoW addons on GeForce NOW
Installing WoW addons on GeForce NOW will be as straightforward as enabling them on a local PC, and you won’t need a CurseForge account. However, as stated above, you’ll need to be an Ultimate, Priority, or Day Pass subscriber to access these mods. That said, here are the four steps to get your WoW addons up and running in GFN:
- Access GeForce NOW on any supported device, such as Chromebooks, Shield TVs, laptops, or handheld devices.
- Launch World of Warcraft as usual.
- Log in to your character and navigate the in-game menu to view all supported addons.
- Log in to your character, go to the in-game menu, and select your desired addons. To enable all, choose “All” and reload the UI.
From then on, CurseForge will handle add-on updates automatically. Since GeForce NOW will remember your settings, you won’t have to enable the add-ons again and again for each gaming session.
How to add more WoW addons to GeForce NOW
If the addon you want has yet to be available on GeForce NOW, you may want to reach out to NVIDIA through the “Send Feedback” option in the top right corner of the GeForce NOW app. Mention the specific mod you need. If enough players request it, NVIDIA will add said mod to GFN.
