We are here to answer those questions and help you follow those weekly activities with our Midnight weekly to-do list.
This week’s rotation

The first question that may arise for new players is when WoW weekly reset happens. The answer is that WoW resets every Tuesday at 3 PM (PST) for the US, Oceania, and Latin servers. It happens every Wednesday at 4 AM (UTC) for European servers.
Now, let’s dive deeper into our Midnight weekly to-do list, now optimised for Season 2 first week.

Weekly Great Vault rewards

Note
Great Vault will fully unlock with the release of Midnight Season 2, which is set to release on August 18 for NA and August 19 for EU. For now, just complete Delves on hardest difficulty to get new items.
What is The Great Vault? The Great Vault is a weekly reward system that offers gear based on the activities you complete. You can unlock rewards through Midnight Season 2 raids, dungeons, and world content, but you can only choose one item each week.
Some of the most valuable rewards are Tier Set pieces. During Midnight Season 2, you can obtain them only from The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, March on Quel’Danas, the Catalyst, or The Great Vault. The Great Vault is located inside the neutral bank in Silvermoon City at [50.2, 66.2]. Its nine reward slots are divided into three sections, with up to three choices available from each activity type.
If you wish to check your progress on the Vault, access it with the Group Finder. Click on the Delves section and then on The Great Vault. Or type in this command:
/run C_AddOns.LoadAddOn("Blizzard_WeeklyRewards"); WeeklyRewardsFrame:Show()
For Midnight expansion, The Great Vault has such categories as Raid, Dungeons, and World (Delves and Prey). Let’s look at those categories and help you with min-maxing profit from Midnight Great Vault.
Delves and Prey
The best and the easiest way to fill your GV with good gear is doing Delves and Prey activities.
Delves can be completed solo and have no time limit. Regular Delves provide starting gear, but Tier 8 Bountiful Delves with Restored Coffer Keys offer better rewards. You can also complete Prey hunts on Normal, Hard, or Nightmare difficulty, with Nightmare offering the Hero tier gear.
To get the maximum out of your Great Vault, you need to accomplish 8 Bountiful Delves or 6 if you are running 2 Nightmare Prey on the week.
Dungeons
Midnight weekly dungeon activities are one of the best ways to upgrade your gear quickly. Heroic, Timewalking, Mythic, and Mythic+ dungeons count toward this Great Vault category, with higher Mythic+ keys granting better weekly rewards (Completing Mythic+ on 10+ will award you Myth tier gear).
Midnight Season 2 features eight Mythic+ dungeons in rotation:
- Altar of Fangs (New)
- Murder Row
- Den of Nalorakk
- The Blinding Vale
- Voidscar Arena
- King’s Rest (Battle for Azeroth)
- Ruby Life Pools (Dragonflight)
- Temple of Sethraliss (Battle for Azeroth)
Raids
Now, let’s have a quick look at raiding activity. You don’t need to defeat every Midnight Season 2 raid boss to get all gear from GV. Defeat 2, 4, or 6 bosses across The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, Sporefall and March on Quel’Danas to unlock up to three Great Vault raid choices. All difficulties count, from Raid Finder to Mythic.
Boss-specific loot is tied to your raid progression. To add loot from a later boss to your Great Vault pool, you must defeat that boss. Defeating a later boss can also unlock loot from all earlier bosses in that raid. For example, defeating Crown of the Cosmos can add its loot and loot from all previous Voidspire bosses to your reward pool.
With our Midnight weekly to-do list for patch 12.1, you won’t miss any important activity, and you can quickly gear up your character or alt for the high-end content. Thanks for reading this article, and follow us for even more Midnight content!
