What is Vicious Saddle in WoW
Vicious Saddle is the greatest PvP reward you can acquire after getting this season’s mount. Vicious Saddle provides active PvP players who didn’t participate in previous seasons to collect legacy PvP mounts. It should be noted that you can only get Vicious Saddle if you’ve collected this season’s PvP mount. Current seasonal mounts are Vicious White Warsaber for Alliance players and Vicious White Bonesteed for Horde players.
Another thing to note about Vicious Saddle is that after acquiring a legacy mount by this method, you gain an opposite faction counterpart. So you get 2 mounts for the price of one. The same logic applies to current PvP season rewards, too.
How to get Vicious Saddle in The War Within
As mentioned, you can only acquire Vicious Saddle after seasonal PvP mount. To start grinding for Vicious Saddle, you must first get Combatant rank. To get Combatant rank, you must get a 1400 PvP rating. This process is easy because you can only lose a rating once you get 1400 ratings.
The only way to improve your rating is by winning Ranked PvP games. Towards this, it counts Solo Shuffle, 2v2, 3v3, and RBG PvP modes. You need to form a group for all of these modes except for Shuffle. So, if you are a solo player, we recommend you read our Shuffle tier list.
Now’s the time to grind for Seasonal mount. Winning a 2v2 will give you 10 points, 3v3 30 points, and 10v10 60 points. To fill your progress bar from nothing, you need 2400 points in all, so that’s 40 RBGs, 80 3v3s, or 240 2v2s per every mount. The good thing is that you are not required to progress in rating to get rewards. When you acquire 2400 points, you will automatically receive seasonal PvP mounts. After that, you may acquire Vicious Saddle in indefinite quantities by filling up a Seasonal Bar worth 2400 points.
