Shadowlands Legacy loot is now available in The War Within
Here’s some exciting news for all transmog fans! Shadowlands Legacy loot becomes available in The War Within.
With the release of Early Access and the new level cap of 80, you can now not only explore the Khaz Algar locations and enjoy the updated content but also get Legacy loot in Shadowlands dungeons and raids. This means that even solo players can collect a full gear set for an entire group, not just items specific to their class.
The recent updates to the Warbands system make it quicker and easier to gather transmog and loot from bosses across all armor and weapon types, depending on your luck. To use the Legacy loot feature, your character must be at least level 71 and ready to participate in The War Within content.
Despite mixed opinions on Shadowlands, it was a great expansion for transmogrification options. With a recent 65% reduction in Shadowlands boss health and damage, you can now solo raid bosses on LFR, Normal, or Heroic difficulty, making it easier to get the loot you want without needing a large group. However, for Mythic difficulty, you may still need better gear or a few friends to assist. At the time of writing, it seems that the LFR Legacy loot doesn’t work, so keep this in mind and don’t waste your time.
Also, let’s face it: it might seem strange that soloing raids from the previous expansion requires you to be level 71+, while older content is easier to tackle alone. However, this is how the Legacy loot system currently works, and it’s unclear if Blizzard will change it in the future.
